Loved the whole tour. Kath was very knowledgeable and shared good information with the group. We liked the route, particularly that it was flat, for the most part. The food choices were all excellent. In fact, we plan to go back to some of the places we visited before we leave for home!

Excellent food great variety of local food favorites, seafood, desserts and wine. Guide was very knowledgeable and excited about showing us her favorite places and hidden gems. In addition, we learned about Auckland and its history. Great experience took this excursion while here on cruise ship.

My husband and I took the food tour with the owner, Elle. Starting out, we went to the Lodge. Excellent appetizers and wine. But unfortunately it went downhill from there.
She wanted to have a sweet and savory experience for us. The selections were unimpressive, gelato, chocolates, and a cheese/cracker charcuterie board.
The last stop was in a mall, supposedly the highlight of the tour: Korean chicken sliders.
Really!! She offered a refund for a 100% money back guarantee. We sent her three emails and no response. So disappointed!!
We would not recommend this tour for the amount of money we paid and poor quality.

We had an excellent time on this tour. Barbara, our tour guide, was great; and we really enjoyed all the different food venues we visited. Plus the tastes and treats were scrumptious! We arrived in Auckland from the States early the morning of the tour, and this fun city food walk in the afternoon was just the right intro to Auckland. Highly recommend!

We try to do a walking food tour whenever we land in a new country. This tour did not disappoint. It was also filled with people who landed in Auckland that morning! Our guide took us through town, gave us suggestions for future dining, gave us some history and was a great assist as we organized ourselves to make the most of Auckland.

We had Kat for our guide and she made sure we had a great time helping us learn some of the history of Auckland and New Zealand and also pointed out great places to eat and drink at in Auckland in addition to taking us to 3 savoury and 2 sweet stops for tasting. It was a great tour to help us get oriented to Auckland and see and taste items that we wouldn't have found on our own very easily.

Our guide Jono was very passionate about food and knowledgeable about the city. Getting the history of the restaurants we were visiting really adds to the experience. Along the way Jono gave plenty of recommendations for other places to try while in the city. We stopped at one of the recommended places after for dinner , and it was spot on! A well paced end to our trip.
