Food was very disappointing, either bland or over salted. Performances were amazing! For the price, I expected much better food though.

The luau show was well done and we had a fun time. Like every luau that I have been to the food was not good at all and I ate only a small part of it. Good show though!

Everything was so beautiful, the vibes were immaculate- The food was delicious, drinks were phenomenal, and the show presented the true history of Hawaii. The staff were so welcoming, kind, and attentive to all the guests. I highly recommend this event and would love to come again!

What an amazing evening learning about Hawaiian culture! From the moment we checked in, the staff were so warm and welcoming! I had several dietary restrictions and they accommodated to all of them without any issues! The entire luau was planned so well! We would recommend this to anyone visiting Maui! Thank you Andaaz and Mokapu for a wonderful evening!!

The hostess was lovely. The food was appallingly bad as were the drinks. For the outrageous prices I expected better. The music was ok, the performers mediocre.

The setting was beautiful - perfectly timed with the sunset. The performers were fantastic! Highly recommend. Best thing we did on Maui.

Pros and Cons of the Feast at Mokapu Luau
Pros: Amazing ambiance and stellar performances. The host was amazing, the music was fantastic, and the performances were beautiful and touching.
Cons: This was not a "feast."
If the event was titled - A Sweet Hawaiian Meal, I would have been satisfied. However, I was expecting a feast. I've been to Luaus before where it's all you can eat food, and the food is amazing. Here, the appetizers came out in bento box like cafeteria trays. Only one appetizer tasted good. The poke was bland. Overall, it set a really sad tone for the event. The whole table I ate at was quiet after the appetizers, not one happy face.
The entrees were an improvement. The beef brisket and fish saved the day - both moist and tender. Unfortunately, my pork was extremely dry and so was my chicken. This course was more like a feast, and as I awaited dessert I thought the event was improving.
When dessert came, boy was I disappointed. I thought I would at least get a slice of chocolate cake. Instead, these tiny desserts were put before us the size of bon bons. The pineapple upside down "cake" was not good. The chocolate "cake" was not good. It left me incredibly dissatisfied. Three tiny bon bons for dessert was certainly not a feast.
Overall, the performance was excellent, service was great, and I hope they improve the food. I personally would not pay as much as I did for the food that I ate. Meh.

Amazing sunset. Excellent service and cuisine highlight an amazing experience. Must try while in Maui. Been to a few luas this is the best by far.

Amazing luau. We did this same one 4 years ago and it was amazing then hence why we returned! Nice and intimate and good is amazing
