Fatima, Batalha, Nazare, Obidos Full-Day Group Tour from Lisbon

I can't say enough great things about the tour guide/driver, Andre. Extremely knowledgeable, very patient and made the entire day enjoyable. It felt more like a good friend taking you around town than a guide. Next time I'm in Lisbon I'll definitely be asking for Andre as a guide specifically and will do any tour he's doing the time I'm there.

My husband and I loved this tour. Our guide, Andre, arrived early at our meeting point (HF Felix Lisboa) and promptly met and organized everyone -- no small feat considering that there appeared to be multiple tours meeting up in the same location at the same time!

The coach ride to the sights was super comfortable; it helped that we were blessed with a gorgeous, sunny, blue-sky day. The amount of time spent at each stop was just right -- I wished that we could've spent more time in each, but I totally understood that that is the nature of group tours like this one with multiple stops in one day. They're appetizers/teasers of some of the most beautiful places.

My favorite was Nazaré for sure. We hiked down to the lighthouse and the beach -- the sweeping coastline, glassy sea, and nearly empty beach was worth the trek down and up! We finished that up with some gelato in the little village.

Andre knows his history and gave us great background information about each stop. Although I initially booked the tour mainly because of the Fatima story, I found myself most fascinated by the story behind the Batalha monastery and the hero immortalized with a statue within its grounds: Nuno Álvares Pereira. This is why I love Portugal -- its rich history and the people who made it.

I definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Portugal, especially Lisbon, who is interested in seeing more beyond the capital city. It's a long day, for sure, but 100% worth the time and effort!

Our tour guide Antonio.was very knowledgeable and made for a fun and informative day. It was just the right amount of having a formal tour and also having some independent time to explore each place. We highly recommended!

It was a great way to see a lot of places at once. I feel like the time in Nazare could be reduced and the time in Obidos increased. It was very difficult to hear the guide in the driver seat while we were in the back seat of the van, I think they should add a mic and speakers to the van to improve the experience.
