We were on a Princess Cruise and needed a tour that was fun and yet somewhat physical in nature. The cruise didn’t offer anything that fit our needs. Volcano Ohana offered a tour through Viator that fit our needs completely. Our guide, Kaylon, was sensational. He picked us up just outside the port and transported us safely to the Volcanos Park. Our e-bikes were in excellent condition. Kaylon’s narration and knowledge of the volcanoes was extensive and informative. We could not have dreamed-up a better guide. Kaylon was kind, patient and very skilled as a tour guide. His safety measures were beyond anything my husband and I have experienced on other E-bike tours. (Grand Canyon, Grand Tetons, Yosemite and Yellow Stone Park)
We would highly recommend this tour and our guide, Kaylon, to anyone with an adventurous spirit and decent fitness level.

There are certain tours that are better than others and your guide is a big reason and Byron was great...very knowledgeable about everything associated with Volcanoes National Park!!!

An electric bike tour is the way to go! It’s easy, fun and a great way to sightsee. The guides are super nice and knowledgeable. They will tell you the history and legends of the park, which is fascinating. I definitely recommend, but please note the bikes are big. I’m 5’3” and it was manageable, but if you have a petite person or children in your group, ask for the add on seat, so no one misses out!

Highly recommend!! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and a great guide! Super fun way to see the park! I have some recommendations for comfort. Bikes create their own wind which will make you cold if you are wet. You will get wet. Wear comfortable pants or leggings. Wear sneakers. Wear a sweatshirt with a rain jacket over the top. Consider gloves if your hands get cold easily. Bring a towel and a complete change of clothes. It’s super fun!!

This was the way to visit the National Park. We had been there before when on a cruise, but we were limited to time at the stops based on the bus. We decided to do the e-bike this time and were glad we did. We did not need to mess with parking which is a big plus, especially at the tubes. Kaylon was a great guide and informative on culture, the volcanos, and also the flora and fauna. The bikes were very easy to get a handle on and we could utilize the power as much or as little as one wanted to - some in our group peddled the whole time, while others used it continuously. If someone is a novice on a bike, the bike may be a little too much to get used to. But, if there is even minimum proficiency it will be fine. If we ever go back, we will do this again if we want to visit the park.

Our guide was very friendly. He gave us lots of interesting information about the Volcanos and the park. We really enjoyed learning a lot about this area. We also learned a lot about the Hawaiian culture. We would recommend this tour to anyone. Riding the bikes was easy and manageable.

Our guide Taylor was amazing….. it turned out to be a beautiful day ( which is unusual there). Taylor checked us out on the bikes and was very knowledgeable about Volcano National Park . He added personal antidotes which were very interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it!! Btw we are all 67+ years old….
