Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history. She took the time to allow us to sit and experience and find the best locations of the site for pictures. Too bad the local government cancelled the underground portion at the last minute.

This tour was fabulous and our guide Sonya was simply the best. She took her time and explained so many fascinating things about everything we were seeing!

Our tour was thoroughly enjoyable in all respects. Despite the inevitable crowds, our guide navigated us through everything extremely well. She took plenty it time to explain things and was extremely knowledgeable. One thing I was particularly pleased about was the way in which our guide talked so fluently and with a genuine interest and passion for what we were being shown - excellent and thank you. Great trip and would recommend it.

The tour was fine but myself and everyone else in the are very disappointed that we did not see the underground it was open because we saw other people down there I have been to colosseum 8 times so I know it's history very you advertised with the underground included and it was not I and the others on this tour deserve a partial refund!!!!!!!!

He did a great job maneuvering us through all the crowds, it was very impressive, actually. He was also so good about making sure we were all accounted for. Our tour really gave us so much information that I had not known before about the colosseum. I felt as if I was taken back in time with all of the knowledge Mario gave us- he told us where to take the best pictures and even took OUR photo! Great tour guide! Palatine hill is unbelievably beautiful! Thanks Mario for the great experience!

The knowledge of our guide was very good, he was funny and informative and clearly loved his work.
The audio equipment is not as good as some other tours- constant crackling/cutting out.
We had to wait at the Forum for a manager to come with digital tickets because the guide couldn’t get his information pack to work. We had another issue at the colosseum where the tickets again were not right and the manager had to come. After she left one of the group I volunteered to enter as an individual aside from the group because our ticketing/reservation still wasn’t right.
If I could score things individually, I would give the guide 5/5, and the management/equipment 2/5.

The colosseum is a remarkable place. Our tour guide was very informative with a sense of humour. He showed us the most important parts of the Forum.
He gave us time for photos will keeping us on track due the busy timetable.
Going on this tour made it more enjoyable as we were learning and understanding history as we was going around.
Would definitely recommend going here and having a guide.
