It was a very informative experience to go to Musee d’Orsay first pre opening and then to Giverny in the afternoon. Our guide was wonderful and we learned a lot about Monet and his peers. Unfortunately, this was a holiday week and Giverny was a mob scene. Without our guide’s resourcefulness I don’t think we would have gotten in after travelling all the way to Giverny. Once in, the visit to the gardens and his home were everything we could hope for.

Booked this experience in the hopes of killing two birds with one stone - seeing the wealth of the Orsay museum and heading out to Giverny to get a breath of fresh air. Seeing the masterpieces and the very landscapes that inspired them, on the very train ride that enabled the impressionists to go out there and paint? 10/10. The guide was very engaging and I loved this experience. Highly recommended
