WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Florence
After having meet your guide and your travel companions in Florence depart in the direction of the Tuscan wine country. During the ride your guide will explain the schedule of your day.
2. Fattoria San Michele a Torri
After a 30 minutes ride, you will stop to Fattoria di San Michele a Torri, an organic hilltop winery of 370 hectares; the estate is 211 meters above sea level, right in the middle of the most well known wine regions of Classic Chianti and Chianti Colli Fiorentini. Here after the visit you will taste a selection of their wines and olive oil
3. Greve in Chianti
After a panoramic ride through the Tuscan wine country, you will reach Greve in Chianti, (a typical village of the Chianti Classico countryside) and the birthplace of the famous Tuscan explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, the Tuscan who discovered the New York Harbor; here you will spend approx. 30/45 minutes to admire the Piazza Matteotti, a gently sloping square which is the hub of life in Greve, and have a look at the many local shops and wine stores, including the famous butcher shop Falorni, etc.
4. Chianti Road
Leave Greve in Chianti, and after a 30 minutes ride through the most famous Tuscan wine road, (rolling hills, huge vineyards, olive trees, etc.? arrive at the second winery
5. Casa Emma
Your experience at the second winery will start with an introduction about the history of the estate, with the explanations about the wine making process, and all the secrets to produce the Chianti red wine and the Tuscan olive oil, famous all over the world. After the visit, take a seat to enjoy a typical Tuscan light lunch paired with different wines (Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscans, etc.) and the olive oil, one of the most important ingredients of the italian cooking.
6. Poggio Torselli
The last stop is at Villa Poggio Torselli, a family-owned historical Villa/Winery, where you will have the chance to admire the views over Florence and one of the most beautiful Italian garden in the area (weather permitting). Taste their genuine products, made with the deepest respect for the cultivation traditions of the territory, with almost the totality of the plants being represented by indigenous varietals, particularly Sangiovese. The third stop represent the perfect way to conclude your wine and food experience and complete your overview about the Tuscan wines by comparing the products and the philosophy of 3 different wine makers of the area.
7. Florence
Your day will end with a relaxing 45 minutes drive back to the departure point in Florence

Really loved this tour, visited 3 beautiful wineries and Greve I'm Chianti. Had lovely wine, olive oils and meat/cheese at lunch. Tour guide and driver, Matteo and Alessio, were really friendly and informative and made the day even more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

The bus was comfortable and limited to 25 people. That may sound like a lot to some people, but the wineries do a good job of making it feel intimate for each person/group. Greve was a very small town, but there was not enough time if you wanted to do any shopping.

Our guide/driver Leo was amazing…very knowledgeable and entertaining! The views were spectacular and each of the vineyards had fantastic offerings. Not only did we enjoy wonderful wine, lunch included some of the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Would absolutely recommend!

My husband and I did this tour with another couple and had an incredible time! Leo was an exceptional host— very timely, gave great info during our drive, and was so hilarious! We only had about 20 people in our group, which felt like a great size. The wineries were incredible, and the lunch at the second winery was amazing as well! Overall, we have no complaints and would definitely suggest this tour to others.

A little bigger than the small group tours I’ve taken in the past, but Leo was a fantastic guide and each winery gave us personal attention. Leo has so much info under his belt, not just about wine, but also about Tuscan history, politics, and the Italian language. Very funny and welcoming. Always checked in with us to see how we were feeling during the drive. Wines and wineries were great, with specialized olive oil, balsamic vinegar, cheese, and meat to accompany the drinks.

Leo, the driver and guide, was no less than AWESOME
All the while giving us recommendations for Florence and or Rome, Leo was a great smooth driving, super kind, sang a song and even served us some food
Truly one of a kind driver that you CANNOT miss out on
The views and winery were very well selected and so was the staff at each of them
Although it was rainy, the tour was great in part especially to Leo
