Essaouira day trip from Marrakech

I did the Essaouira day trip from Marrakesh, which has been one of my favourite days I have spent in Morocco during my week-long holiday here.
On the way there we stopped at a women’s cooperative where we had the opportunity to learn about the history of argan oil production and could purchase products that were made from organic and naturally made argan oil. We stopped at a cafe on the way to Essaouira where we had the chance to get refreshments and freshen up, as the journey from Marrakesh to Essaouira was quite lengthy.
The transport vehicle was very comfortable, spacious and had air conditioning; the drive was good. During the journey, Lahcen the tour guide was very informative and funny, sharing loads of information with us and keeping us entertained. He taught us some Berber phrases, so it was only fair we taught him some British phrases; he was an amazing host, and really made the experience unforgettable. Thank you!
Water bottles were given to us during the journey to and back, which I thought was very nice and a kind gesture.
Once we arrived at the port city of Essaouira we had approximately 4 hours of free spending time and were picked up from the same spot we were dropped off at, which was easy and smooth for the group.
Once again, thank you so much for the experience. If you’re considering doing this day trip, definitely do it. You won’t regret it.

Nice guide, we had a really good time. Recommended for those who are in Marrakech and want to take a trip to the sea. During the journey there will also be stops to see the manufacturing of Argan oil.

We booked the trip online without any problem. We went with other three people,
it sounded like private tour. Great value, very friendly and helpful guide, highly recommended.

Tour that starts with a visit to the classic place where women grind Argan seeds, we set off again for Essauira.
Nice town, very small, the things that are worth seeing can be visited in less than two hours.
You will be there just before prayer time, so many businesses will close, but will reopen shortly after you pray.
We paid €13 per person for the tour which is the equivalent of the bus trip from Marrakech.
The tour is simply transport from Marrakech to Essauira, once there you will be free to wander around the median in total autonomy.

First, they picked up and dropped off as timely as possible which is tough in Marrakech rush hour traffic. Don't make any end of day plans.
It was very interesting to see the landscape between Marrakech and Essaouira.
I had seen too many women's Argan oil coopératives by the time we saw this one. It was a safe, pleasant, air conditioned and comfortable ride to Essaouira. We had the time there to do what we wanted. The beach is beautiful. Take appropriate play clothes.
I would have liked more cultural information along the way but that wasn't really what the tour was for. It was mainly transportation.
He was happy to answer my questions to the extent he could.
I'd recommend these guys tour as quite reasonable transport for a day trip to Essaouira.

I had an amazing time with Elhoussain! His energy is infectious and he kept us smiling the whole trip. He is a wonderful guide and anyone who takes his trip is so lucky.

The minibus trip to Essaouira was perfect. It was on time for pick up and we had a comfortable journey. Great communication from Elhoussain, he responds quickly to messages and is clear with the time and pick up location. A very organised and relaxed experience to a tranquil seaside destination.

Great way of getting to see Essaouira for around 5 hours, arriving before lunch time. The old medina (pedestrian only) in Essaouira is a very peaceful coastal town with a relaxed shopping experience compared to the souks in Marrakech. The beach goes on for miles and is a lovely walk with the opportunity of surfing, camel rides or quad biking. The timing of the mini bus was spot on, a great way of getting to and from Essaouira within a day. Elhoussain's communication was very clear throughout.

Saïd was a great guide along the way he was able to answer all our questions. Gave great tips on saving when eating out and provided great insights into Moraccan culture.
The driver was careful and smooth going and coming. Would recommend this trip.

This company is amazing! We texted them night before the trip and they immediately answered finding the two spots for us. The trip started on time and driver was driving very safe all the way long. Minivan was clean. Guide was also very nice and speaking good English. So far the best experience with transportation in 🇲🇦!
