Unfortunately my experience turned into a nightmare - as when leaving the Eiffel Tower and getting into a Taxi (via Entrance 1), the taxi driver scammed me (with the card reader) and I ended up losing 900€ out of my bank.

We ended up getting different tickets once we arrived because they were so much cheaper at the site.
These were a great place holder in the event they didn't have anymore tickets

My only issue was no signposting at the beginning so had no idea which line to join but once through security it was straight up the tower. We enjoyed the exercise of the stairs and the viewing platform for photos was great.

Couldn't pick up the tickets due to bad internet at the Eiffel Tower. And they were sent a day before, so there was no possibility to print them out in advance. There was no help to be had at the entrance - they knew the problem well...!

The time booked was 8:30 p.m., up the stairs. The day before I received an email - for unexpected reasons it was not possible to climb up. We were offered 4:30 p.m. But we and the children wanted to climb up in the dark. Our booking was cancelled without further comment. When we were there in the evening I asked the information desk. After 6 p.m. on weekends and in the low season (Friday, October for us) it was generally not possible to climb the stairs.
So times were offered here that were not available in the first place! So nothing about "for unexpected reasons", that must have been known. So the Eiffel Tower was cancelled as the final highlight for us on the last evening (mind you, 7 people with children). You can well imagine the screaming of the children afterwards...

The experience has been very good, I had already gone up to the Eifel Tower by elevator and this time we enjoyed views and corners that we did not see on the previous visit. I recommend it
