I received messeage about change of plans after midnight in a day of the trip, what doesn't give any chance to cancel it with having costs back. Even though guide was nice and tried to get us as close as possible.. However we HAVEN'T SEEN ANY LAVA OR VOLCANO from close. I was prepared for 10 km hike and all we did was driving by exact places of south-west coast and hot springs in this area. I feel really dissapointed about this trip taking into account its description and price.. If You want to book such a tour i would highly reccomend to check if volcano is accessable.. The same i would say to organisators, if You're selling such a trip, first You should make sure that thiose places are accessable..

We had a terrible experience with this company. We woke up on the day of the excursion to an email at 2am that morning cancelling the trip. When we tried to contact the company, they were unavailable and the phone number didn’t work. Because they had left the cancellation so late, we were unable to join any other tours leaving Reykjavik that day, spoiling our last day in Iceland. I’ve also since found another tour from the same company that was cancelled 5 days before our trip so they clearly could have planned ahead and let us know before the morning of the trip so we could have booked something else. Really really disappointed.

I had two bookings with this agency and they cancelled the Northen lights and Volcano tours at 11 PM when the tour was supoosed to start in the next morning!!! They said the driver had covid.
This allegation just shows how unprofessional they are. Didnt they know the driver got covid earlier? Didnt they have an second driver?
Moreover, they also didnt reply any of my e-mails. By lucly, I got to book with other agency.

I have been on many tours and this was fairly average . In Iceland the two other tours I went on were far better.
The volcanos are not as impressive as others i have seen in Italy and Hawaii.
Johannes the guide was nice enough and did his best but it a bit boring . No wifi on bus.

This tour was nothing like the description. We specifically picked a short trip that did NOT involve hiking. We were not prepared to hike and did not have proper clothes or gear. When we arrived at the Crater area our guide told us it was an hour hike up the side of the mountain!! We were also supposed to see 2 active craters but only stopped at one. We went to the blue lagoon instead which also was not in the description and we had zero desire to go there as we have another tour already booked that involves hot springs. Then we stopped for lunch which also was not advertised or planned for. Our guide was nice and informative and we did at least get to see the volcanic area so it was not a total waste of time but definitely not worth the money we paid to do stuff we didn't want to do.

Interesting seeking the lava flows from the most recent eruption. As a very new tourist sight, the tour might benefit from flushing out more contention and providing more information. The tour would benefit with more verbal information/narration during the travel. The group was a bit confused at why we stopped and how long we would be there. Communication from the booking platform was lacking basic information such as pick time window, and who the tour company was earlier in the process.

Thor was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. We hiked to the top of the volcano mountain and it was spectacular. There were about 4 other stops on the way, the blue lagoon, the geo thermal plant etc. Great views along the way too
