Enjoy 8 days Egypt Tour Package from Cairo airport with Flights

We booked this package last minute (literally the day before our flights) and were quite unsure of how this trip was going to go, but to our luck everything turned out fantastic. As soon as I booked on Viator, Bassant from Here Egypt reached out on Whatsapp to coordinate our travels and internal flights. Bassant was also our main point of contact and checked in with us everyday while we traveled. This package is handled by multiple operators under the parent company Here Egypt, but everyone reached out via whatsapp to make sure all segments of the trip were carried forward in timely manner. And, we did get to do everything listed here in the package. Airport transfers in Cairo and cairo tour was taken care off by Mohmamed and his wonderful team, Rahim (safe and awesome driver) and Dr. Farouk (extremely knowledgeable and very professional tour guide). Our Trip itinerary was slightly changed due to last minute availability so we did the cruise from Luxor to Aswan instead of the other way around. But the Luxor team organizer Star was on top of everything. We also had a tour guide Mohammed who accompanied us on the Nile Cruise. He was very passionate about Egyptian history and thoroughly shared his knowledge. Our Nile cruise was called M.S. Zeina. Similar to other reviews I have read about their cruises this one was a bit dated, but it had such wonderful staff. The cruise wasn’t as full and we were upgraded to a suite, which was quite roomy. We had dietary restrictions and chef Ahmed and his team took good care of our needs. Mustafa, our room service personnel and other staff on board were all very hardworking and made sure we got good service. Overall we loved our travels to Egypt. The people were very warm and friendly, the Pyramids are amazing to explore. If you get a chance and have the time I would highly recommend adding Saqqara, Memphis and Dahsur as a day trip from Cairo. For the ease we booked it directly through Here Egypt, and it was totally worth it. The 3 pyramids at Giza are amazing, but the if you want to learn about the history of first and oldest pyramids, those sites are a must in my opinion. Some other useful travel tips if you chose this package: Download Whatsapp. The itinerary here from Viator is all you will have in written form. All other communication happens via whatsapp there. Initially I was a bit nervous as to who was going to pick us up etc…but they reach out to you on their own, and answer all the queries!!! Just make sure to ask if you have any doubts/questions so you don’t feel lost. Accommodation says 4 star for Cairo and the hotel we got (Pyramid Oasis) was listed as 4 star online somewhere as well, but it is not. Expect 2.5-3 star. The staff was nice so it went smoothly for us for the 3 nights we stayed there. Their restaurant was quite expensive compared to the food from local places, so if you have a chance eat out. Another thing we learned is that most Nile cruises are listed as 5star. Don’t fall for the 5 star term and expect luxury. They are actually tiered into Deluxe and Luxury. In this package you will get Deluxe which is a 3-3.5 star. You will see nicer cruises that are actually 4 or 5 stars but they are pricey I believe. Apart from this, tipping is a big part and the expectation is quite high as well from tourists so be ready to budget separately for it. Also, the entrance fee cost adds up so if you are on a budget, do consider that separately, we were quite surprised. Money exchange was fair at the bank where we had to get the visa sticker at the Cairo airport when we landed. Lastly, be careful if you purchase fragrances in Aswan. We were taken to Philae Essences Palace by our tourguide which was quite big, well decorated and had great presentation of products, but our purchased products were super diluted then the once we were given to test at the shop…All in all we made great memories and would book budget travel with this company if we were to travel ever again to Egypt as we found the package reasonable.

All antiquities from Cairo to Abu Simbel were incredible, staff was friendly & informative. Zackariah was a great guide!

One of the best times of my life and I have been to 60 countries. Nour was great with communication and dealing with hiccups along the way. I would suggest upgrading the ship on the Nile cruise since the one that comes with it is a little dated and rag tag to say the least. I would also ask them to include the camel ride in Cairo, it was one of the highlights of the trip. It doesn't cost much for a one or two hour trip (you pick the length with the camel jockey you get) but you get to actually go up to the pyramids, feel like you are in the desert seeing them and getting amazing pictures! The hot air balloon ride was also a highlight.

We had an amazing time in Egypt! Our tour guide and driver in Cairo were attentive and friendly. Yasmin (guide)and Rahim (driver), really immersed us in Egyptian culture and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our vacation! Our Nile cruise was with guide Zakaraya and he also was wonderful! This tour allowed to see multiple cities and really get to know Egypt :)

Had an absolutely amazing time on our trip to Egypt for our Honeymoon. Zakarya showed us around at all the stops and was extremely knowledgeable. Had incredible information at each stop. Egypt is beautiful and a must go for all. Felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Everyone was friendly and made sure we had a blast b

Nice experience. Loved the Ancient Egyptian Civilization and the Nile Cruise....Special thanks to Mr. Mohammad Sayed in Cairo - representative of Here Egypt Tours, who was very helpful and informative. Enjoyed the Day Trip in Cairo with him.....
Would advise travellers to book their own hotels for stay in Cairo.....loved the cruise experience though....

I booked the tour through Viator, although there were initial problems trying to message the tour operator, about two weeks before the trip I was put in touch with Mona (coordinator) through whatsapp. Mona was very prompt in responding to messages, and was very helpful. She let me know the name of the driver and contact information about pick up from air port in advance. The cruise tour from Aswan to Luxor was wonderful with the help of our guide Mohamed Wafa, who travelled with our small group on the boat. Mona was great, would check with us every day about how we were doing. Thank you Mona and Mohamed that made the tour safe and enjoyable.

Five stars? Yes! First I wondered about the excellent ratings for this agency. Once arriving in Egypt everything was really perfectly organised: there was always a message at time on WhatsApp - that you need absolutely- and the driver or guide was always there. Very friendly and helpful people with good explanation. Don’t wait for a scheduled program for the whole week, you always get the information the evening before or in the morning. When you are in place you understand why.
We asked for personal reason to change the hotel for the last week- also perfectly organised. And when we had to leave, our driver had an accident just before arriving. So Mohamed came in between 15 minutes to our hotel to ensure that we will catch our flight back: thanks again for this!
Concerning the visits organised, of course the sites selected were what we excepted, but be aware that the number of visitors may be very high which makes it difficult to appreciate. But finally we were lucky that we didn’t went inside the pyramid of Cheops, other tourists said that it was a punishment. Instead the agency went with us to Sakkara, much more interesting and much less visitors.
The boat trip was a real pleasure, perfect rooms, excellent dishes and very friendly service.

Went on a tour with Thomas cook from India.
The tour was conducted well & sightseeing of ancient temples & Pyramids was awesome.
But the main purpose of this review is the arrogant attitude of the Airport staff & Security who treated everyone as if they were criminals. Surprising for a poor country, depending on tourism. Will never ever go to Egypt. Also the people are generally not friendly, & most surprising is that even front office people in 5 star hotels hardly speak any English. Front office guys on the Nile cruise ship Ibrotel Nile Empress were rude & did not know a word of English. Sad. If it wasn't for their ancestors "the Pharaohs" this contry would be doomed.
