The train trip was good and the food was a pleasant surprise. The only problem was, we did not know where to obtain our tickets. It would’ve been much better if there was a better description as to where exactly to get our tickets. We were directed to a long line of people who were buying tickets and were told that we had to exchange the voucher for the tickets there. This was incorrect.we strongly recommend that you give greater detail as to where to exchange the tickets so there’s not this unpleasant tree. I’m waiting in line for nothing. We nearly missed the train.

A slow but lovely ride through Tierra del Fuego National Park. It takes you down by the Beagle Channel and the Post Office At The End Of The World. Lovely staff.

Nice little morning out. Quite hectic getting our online ticket transferred at the beginning as we needed to join a long queue to pay for our park entry tickets as we needed to pay by card. Thought it was a bit expensive for what it was but we liked learning about the history and the prison.

This whole experience is overrated. Whoever said the seats were comfortable, must have been in a different train. Or not a full train. We were six adults squashed into a very small space, with our knees and shoulders pushed up against each other. The staff were not particularly helpful about the audio. There is supposed to be a channel for Spanish, one for English, etc. But the switches do not always work, to get the right channel. The scenery was OK, but it took a very long time to get the train loaded and then chugging slowly along the route. The “waterfall” was a small cascade of maybe 8-10 feet, smaller than some people have in their local park. I would skip this, and spend more time at viewpoint, and on the short walking trails in the national park.

We had lowered expectations due to some negative reviews, but were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Seats were comfortable, and we enjoyed the narration from the audio guide. The narration on the way out was more about the prison and prisoners' experience. We stayed on the train for the return, and the narration for the return trip was more about flora and fauna of the park.

Yes, they try to sell you photos at the Macarena stop, but it wasn't too pushy. We actually wanted one of the photos and purchase for $5. We emailed them a couple of days later for the digital copy, and they made good on their promise.

The ride through the meadow area is beautiful and interesting with all of the tree stumps. We saw several horses in that area.

We would recommend this as part of a nice full-day trip to TDF NP.

This is a tacky tourist trap. Overpriced for a very short train ride. Constant sell to spend more money on contrived photos

All the time we had the same views. The story that is told on a headset in the train is nice. The train is going really slow.

Disappointing. Time and money is better spent elsewhere. It is a very slow rude through fairly boring scenery. Stopped for a small waterfall that was pretty but not extraordinary. Saw some horses and listened to a recorded story about the prisoners who cut trees and built infrastructure when the area was remote. Would suggest you use the 1 to 2 hours admiring the stunning scenery elsewhere in the park.

Don’t waste your time. Really expensive, boring, route beside cars road, not really a sightseeing. Rail line short. Worthless
