When entering El Yunque, we will take a scenic drive through the National Park. Climbing in elevation, enjoy views of the peak above and ocean below! En route to a private access point on Rio Pitahaya, we will pass Rio Mameyes, Puente Roto, and the Angelito Trail Head.

Upon arrival at Las Paylas you will be introduced to a natural playground with something for everyone! With a hidden waterfall, cave, 2 waterslides, and natural pool, there is no more refreshing or exhilarating way to enjoy an afternoon! If adventure is not your style, worry not! No guest has to partake in any activity they are not comfortable with.

After El Yunque, wind down at Luquillo Beach and Los Kioskos. Soak in the culture and essence of Puerto Rico with amazing food, drinks, and music on the ocean!

Catering to residents, utility workers, commercial drivers, and anyone passing by, Frutera Flores has served up the best smoothies, fresh fruit, and authentic Puerto Rican food in Luquillo for decades. Grab a fresh mango, avocado, alcapurrias, empanadas, or hot dish to go! La Frutera Flores will also have restroom access, drinks, souvenirs, and last minute items before entering the forest!
2. El Yunque Hiking Area
Enjoy a ride through El Yunque National Park with views of the peak above and ocean below. Soak in the scenery, history, and culture as we pass through Rio Mameyes, Puente Roto, and the Angelito Trail Head, en route to our private access point. Once reaching our trail, we will embark on a moderate 15-20 minute walk through the canopy of the rainforest. Engulf yourself in nature's beauty and the soundscape of local birds and the famous coqui! The payoff waiting for you at trail's end is the refreshing waters of El Yunque! Enjoy the locally coveted Las Paylas natural waterslide and waterpark for an exhilarating experience like no other. With access to 2 natural waterslides, a hidden waterfall, natural pool, and cave, there is something for every level of adventurer here! Or, enjoy the ambiance from afar and feel the excitement and energy of those partaking! Either way you will get an authentic feel of what Puerto Rico's national treasure has to offer.
3. Playa Luquillo
After enjoying your time in the Rainforest walking and swimming in the pristine waterways, its time to head to the popular Luquillo Beach. Put your toes in the sand or take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean as the sun starts to set on a beautiful day. Kioskos de Luquillo is located at Luquillo Beach and about a 2 minute walk from the ocean and sand. Guests will have a total of 2 hours to enjoy the beach, shops, restaurants and bars before heading back to the San Juan area!

End your afternoon by indulging in the best of Puerto Rican culture. Smells, sounds, and tastes are abundant at Los Kioskos, a strip of restaurants and souvenir shops that house some of the best food on the island! Kick back with a refreshment in hand and let the sun set on a most memorable day in paradise. Kioskos de Luquillo is located at Luquillo Beach and about a 2 minute walk from the ocean and sand. Guests will have a total of 2 hours to enjoy the beach, shops, restaurants and bars before heading back to the San Juan area!

• The total duration of the tour from pickup to drop off is 6 - 8 hours depending on pickup location, traffic, and the pace of the group. . For the 10:30 am tour expect to return 4:30-5:30 pm. For the 12:30 pm tour expect to return 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
• This adventure does not enter the ticketed section of El Yunque National Forest, managed by the U.S. Forest Service. Guests will not be required to purchase additional tickets.
• This adventure does not make the 2 hour hike to the peak or towers as that trail may not be suitable for all of our guests.
• The minimum age to attend this tour is 4 years old. Guests who are not 4 years old or older will not be permitted to attend the tour and will forfeit any cost associated with their ticket.
• The nature walk is a moderate walk through the natural terrain of El Yunque. When there is rain in the rainforest, the trail can become muddy and the walk will be more challenging. We recommend travelers wear a bathing suit under comfortable clothes, a pair of shoes you don't mind getting wet with a pair of sandals or water shoes to change into, and a towel to dry off.
• Guest will be able to leave belongings on the bus. The tour provider will not be held responsible for items or belongings lost or damaged during this adventure
• El Yunque Rainforest is monitored by the Puerto Rican Government. If conditions become hazardous and a portion of El Yunque is closed to preserve the safety of guests, the tour provider will extend the time at Luquillo Beach and Los Kioskos.
• Not recommended for elderly travelers or guests in poor physical condition.

This was a cool tour although I expected more rain in a so called rain forest however I guess it was slippery enough because my wife did slip n fall and hurt her shoulder pretty bad which kinda kept us from fully experiencing the 2nd or beach portion!

Our tour guides Edwin and Rafi were amazing! Such a fun tour filled with a local experience and lots of memories! Be ready to climb and get your hands (and clothes) dirty but bring a change of clothes and all worth it.

Our family had no idea what to expect. We had a blast! We stopped at a small shop for souvenirs and refreshments. We then went through the rainforest to the natural waterslide. The rocks were a little tricky but it was fun. The water felt amazing! You must do the slide! We then got dropped off at a beautiful beach and shops. We ate lunch at La Parilla. Anthony our guide was awesome! We called him Tarzan. He knew his rainforest for sure.

David was an excellent driver and tour guide. My boyfriend and I felt welcomed as soon as we stepped onto the bus. This was an excellent and immersive experience that really gave the PR vibes! 10/10 recommend!

While the waterslide and pools were fun, there is really no hike into the rainforest. You park on the road and take a sidewalk to a path down to the river. After the “waterslide” it’s back up to the bus. Not the rainforest experience I would have liked. The beach part was ok, nothing special at all. The kebabs were amazing and there were a lot of local food stalls to choose from. The guide was good, but the bus’s AC was terrible and kept spitting black bits of filter all over everyone.

Beautiful day visiting El Yunque and Luquillo Beach! Our tour guide Bryant was second to none and provided great commentary! He navigated us safely through two super fun natural water slides and shared lots of fun local facts throughout the day! Overall, the scenery was beautiful, the beach pristine and the local flair inviting!

Edwin and Rafi were great. We were picked up on time. Edwin is a great educator. My group did not do the water slides but we were glad to see others be adventurous. We enjoyed the trip. Luquillo Beach was nice. The pinchos and conch salad were delicious. Zero complaints.
