El Viejo Almacen Tango Show from Buenos Aires

Great variety of entertainment from singing, dancing and music. Also a surprise visit from Hugo Marcel who sang a few numbers. Marcel is one of the more famous actors and singers of Argentina. Come hungry, the dinner did not disappoint, my wife and I had steak…it was huge and delicious.

Sorry but the food was mediocre at best. The only English the server spoke was "tip" at the end of the meal. (Buenos Aires in general is not English friendly, but for such a tourist attraction, it would have been nice to have more English service because I have dietary restrictions. But yes, I know, it's my responsibility.)

For the show which is in a venue across the street, I was seated behind a large pole that blocked center stage. It was just bad luck as there were only maybe a dozen obstructed seats. The show itself that I could see was enjoyable with one really spectacular act that I'm not sure how to describe but it made the show for me.

I would skip the dinner, get an Uber, and see the show and hope you are seated where you can see.

Old warehouse converted to a Tango Show theater. Great performers and performances. A well oiled machine. Everything on time. We did not have dinner, but show included “drinks” (which was unfortunately a glass of bad Malbec). We stuck to water.

If you have never seen a professional tango show, this may be an option. I am sure the city has plenty of others to offer.

Totally professional. It is simply a shame that the venue space is so cramped for the performers. The entire event was nervousness that one or more o the actors would fall off the stage. They deserve so much more there in Argentina.

This show was fantastic! It's in an old theater and there are a few seats where there are columns that might block your view (not our seats) but we enjoyed every second of this beautiful performance. They picked us up, the performers were spectacular and our server was attentive and responsive. Totally worth it!

Really good time. Loved the show and the music. If you by chance don't like your seat just speak up and they will help to get you happy (we did this). I don't know if the VIP was worth it, small place.

Wow!!! What an amazing night we had last night. Picked up from our hotel in a private car - 3 course meal with drinks - then the amazing Tango show with seats front of house.
Loved loved loved it. Small venue so all seats are good but we were right at the front!
So authentic and amazing value for money for the experience - 100% recommend this if visiting Buenos Aires - thank you

The show was incredible! But don’t waste your time or money on the dinner, which was subpar at best - several tables sent back nearly full plates to the kitchen. Additionally, the included transportation to and from the venue is a bus that stops at several hotels along the way, so avoid it if you don’t want to be on an hour+ ride home after the show. Also the “drinks included” was actually just two per person (including waters).

Highly recommend the show, just go with the option without dinner and get your own transportation.
