You will be one of the first visitors of the day to explore Ek Balam, probably one of the most important places in the Tlalol kingdom. Climb the pyramids to have a panoramic view of the Mayan jungle. After knowing all the secrets of this archeological site, you’ll have free time to explore on your own.
Visit one of the seven wonders of the modern world Chichen. With knowledge of archeology and Mayan culture, it will be easy for you to imagine how the Mayans once inhabited this city. As we stroll through the well-preserved ruins we will tell you about Mayan mythology, philosophy, and cosmology, to gain a deep understanding of the meaning behind the stone sculptures and platforms.
Then we are ready to taste a fantastic Mexican buffet lunch. Have a break in the Cenote Chichi Kan and get over the heat with a refreshing swim right next to its waterfall.

The only thing to improve is probably the choice of the lunch place. I can compare it with another similar location which was definitely better in the food quality and selection.

Great experience with Guide Ivan. He demonstrated a lot of knowledge on the subject. The part I really liked was the explanation of the Mayan numerical system. The script was very good and well organized.

Juan and Ivan were awesome! A great set of experiences all packed into one day. There wasn't as much time as I would've liked for all the activities but the schedule is tight to fit everything in so expect a few delays to be normal...

Ivan and Juam were amazing! Great energy and lots of knowledge for the whole trip. They did an incredible job keeping everyone on the right time, giving good recommendations for each stop, and keeping the bus in a good mood. The only thing I could ask for is better ventilation in the bus!

Ramiro and José were perfect during this day. Ramiro gives complete explanations about Chichén Itza and the history and customs of the Mayan people.
We then went to Ek Balam, an archaeological site just as impressive but much more intimate. Unlike Chichen Itza, you are allowed to climb to the top of the temples and admire a view overlooking the lush Mexican jungle.
Finally José and Ramiro took us to the Chichikan cenote. There followed free time where we were able to eat at the buffet and then cool off in a breathtaking cenote.
Since we were a small group, we were able to ask a lot of questions to which Ramiro had all the answers.
The excursion started early in the morning but this allowed us to avoid the peak of intense heat (36 degrees) and we arrived at the site first.
Another big thank you to them for this beautiful day. Adios

A very punctual tour full of activities.
Very pleasant trip thanks to Rodrigo for the information and Víctor for driving very calmly.
The information that Ivan gave us and the talk at ChichenItza was very entertaining.
Many activities in a single day can be achieved, but the time in each one is very limited and you are left wanting more. Very good to be the first trip and get to know.

Rodrigo and Ivan were excellent guides, I give them a 2010. They were the best, they created a pleasant and unforgettable day and they do know how to tell good stories and instruct us without being boring. I wish the history teachers were like them, I admire their charisma.
