Start your tour of the Eiffel Tower by meeting your guide, who will give you an introduction to the tower and the history of its construction. Ascend to the 2nd floor by elevator and take in the sweeping city views as you ascend this iconic landmark.

Of all the things we have ever booked online, we never felt as much cheated as with this tour. Please note this doesn't get you ahead in the line. You can 100% do everything on your own that you will get with this tour (other than a person telling you about the history of Eiffel tower which you can read yourself without paying an inordinate amount of money). Online tickets to the Eiffel tower are sold out quickly. We mistakenly thought that we will save time by joining this group tour. You actually do not save any time at all. Actually, you lose time since they wait for many people to gather up. The tour guide will take you and make you stand in the same line that you could have easily walked up to. You will wait as much as 1-3 hours before you will get your ticket and then again stand in line for the elevators. Do not do this tour. They do not guarantee any tickets nor can they get tickets for you in advance.

The tour leader, Sid, was good value and very amusing, but the fact we had to wait well over an hour before even getting our tickets, was not what we expected. And when we found that we were not able to go to the top because it had been closed (but it was opened again while we were still there) we were extremely disappointed. While this was not the fault of Viator, we were not told it might happen until we were actually in the queue for tickets and had paid the amount to go to the top. A long way to come from New Zealand not to get to the top!

Ekaette was amazing!! She explained everything in detail and was patient and kind. The whole tour was amazing. We went to the summit and the view was gorgeous. I highly recommend her as your tour guide. You won’t regret it!!

I payed our ticket for 3 for 190 euro ( until summit ) but than we can only go until 2nd floor ( summit is closed) ticket for 2 adults 18.10 euro each and child for 9.50 euro. How we can get our money back?

Rawda, our tour guide was amazing! She was extremely knowledge, knew how to keep us entertained, shared very realistic views of what was going to be the expectation on the day and throughout the experience. We couldn’t ask for a better guide. The woman needs a medal! And a pay rise!

I wish I’d read the reviews… This tour was a shambles. Despite booking it for a certain time, we were still subjected to a 2 1/2hr queue - when I watched other tour guides giving out tickets on arrival and their groups being able to use the fast pass. Luckily it wasn’t raining or it would have been a truly terrible experience. The tickets handed out were worth less than we paid, so effectively we paid more for some facts about the Tower I could have googled read from a tatty picture book. PoWe ended up with limited time at the tower due to us needing to leave. The only reason I have given 2 stars is as we did make it up and our guide was a nice guy (and I should have read the reviews). I now see the description says it isn’t a timed entry, this is new and based on the reviews I think. I would never use this company again.
