Live a unique experience with local guides.

Start your tour of the Eiffel Tower by meeting your guide, who will give you an introduction to the tower and the history of its construction. Ascend to the 2nd floor by elevator and take in the sweeping city views as you ascend this iconic landmark.

At the end of the 2nd floor visit, take the elevator that will take you to the top. At the top, enjoy some free time to take in views of the famous landmarks that can be seen atop the Eiffel Tower. See Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Trocadéro gardens and the golden dome of the Hôtel des Invalides.

On the way back down, be sure to stop at the 1st floor where you can walk on the glass floor of the observation deck and see an exhibition on the Eiffel Tower.

Leave with your head filled with memories of the capital's enchanting views and a new perspective of this magnificent city.

Our guide, Essien, found me (and my husband) a place to sit when the long wait in line became physically difficult for me. She then came to get us when our tickets were ready. In addition, she was very knowledgeable about the Eiffel Tower and its history. We were pleased with her services. However, we were not pleased with the long wait of over two hours to get to the tower. While we could have gotten our tickets without booking this tour, having a knowledgeable advocate was invaluable. However, the heading on the Viator website says “Skip the Line” and we definitely did not. Our tip to travelers - buy a timed ticket up to 60 days before your visit (some exceptions apply during the Olympics summer of 2024) and truly skip the line! These tickets are very limited, so plan ahead!

We bought tickets too the top level. But could not go because elevator to top closed due to overcapacity. Big disappointment 2 1/2 hour wait, large fee and could not go. Guide Marsha was lovely.

Warning. This is not a skip the line and they do not have tickets ahead of time. Basically you pay a guide to wait in the walk up line with you. Expect hours of standing in line.

This was pointless. Just go to the tower and get your tickets there. I paid for this tour and we couldn’t access without waiting 1.5 hours in hopes we could access the lift or paying money to just climb the stairs.

As the title suggests, David was a fantastic guide. He was very informative and engaging - but with all tours you can go on, you get more out of it if you are willing to participate and engage. David’s knowledge extended beyond the Eiffel Tower itself, he was informative on Paris as a whole. We must also mention he was particularly funny. As for the Eiffel Tower itself, I must admit we went on a good day. The queues were not very long and the weather was fantastic so we managed to get up to the top. You will be hard pressed to get a better view of Paris and its many landmarks than from the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Ekaette -

Knows a lot of information & is a great tour guide.

If you take this tour you still have to wait in a 1-2 hour line to take the lift

We were delayed 24 hours on our flight to Paris due to bad weather in the US. (ie tornados) Our travel partners called to rebook for another day. We did not want to cancel! But we were told "no" due to the 24 hour cancellation policy. Again we wanted to rebook, not cancel! We have booked several tours through Viator over the last few years and have always been pleased. However, this experience has soured us on the company because this was an issue out of our control.

I have nothing but praise for your guide. I think her name was Liz. She did a good job of looking after the group. There was a two and half wait in line in the freezing cold which was a little hard to get through. Liz however kept us sane.

The tour was not well operated and not worth the money charged. They are charging double the amount of the original ticket and the same queues as for general public. You could do the same by turning up to the Eiffel Tower on the day and buy the tickets. Will be cheaper
Secondly, it was not really a guided tour. The guide pointed out some landmarks which can be viewed from Eiffel Tower and then you’re by your own.
