If I could leave zero stars, I would.
This tour started with the tour guide telling me that she ‘didn’t like’ Paris and would rather be ‘in Vancouver’. Brilliant start. We wandered over the the Eiffel Tower to be told that we would have to stand in line, no fast track, but it would ‘be okay’ because she would tell us all about the tower. She didn’t. She did say we would be unlikely to get to the Summit that we’d paid for because it was closed. Before even joining the line, we spent 20 mins outside the men’s loos just waiting around for people. I asked the tour guide where the river boat would depart from and she stated that that part of the trip had been ‘cancelled’. She said that boats had not been able to cruise the Seine for four days so Viator had my money knowing they could not fulfil this part of the deal. Then we got into a lengthy queue with every other tourist to wait for almost two hours with the rest of the world. There was no information forthcoming from the guide- we learnt nothing.
This was the first day of our holiday and an awful start. Viator charged me £100+ for two Tower tickets that would have cost €45 had we just booked directly with the Tower ticket office. To make matters worse, our tour guide gleefully told the whole queue that we were ‘probably wondering’ what we ‘paid for’ and then proceeded to state that Viator add 30% to experience prices with the tour guide getting a further 20% mark up.
Viator refuse to refund this travesty of an experience- AVOID!

This tour was great! Our guide was very informative! The sights were amazing!
Confusing part was where we needed to catch the cruise…signage was not clear and no one around to help. Cruise was good, but couldn’t understand speaker.

This tour allowed us to gain access to the top of the Tour, when direct tickets were already sold out. We enjoyed the commentary of our guide & the Eiffel Tour is stunning as ever. The Seine River Cruise was great as well. A combination of these 2 should not be missed during your 1st trip to Paris. Thank you!

Our tour guide Zac was very informative and engaging. We began our tour on time and moved through the various checkpoints efficiently. Along the way, Zac would stop and gather the group for various facts & stories about the Eiffel Tower.

Tour experience was good but I had to pay extra 25 euros per person for being late for 10 mins. I know it’s my mistake, this would help someone to plan ahead in order to avoid extra cost. The person at reception charged me extra 25 euros person. He did say that Eiffel Tower will charge him extra. Please everyone be on time.

This was the worst tour experience I’ve ever had. First of all I never heard the tour guide’s name so I can’t specify who he was. We arrive at the tower and start going through the security line. For some reason he told my wife and myself to wait on a different line than he rest of the group was on . This was a huge mistake as the security guards were constantly letting in people ahead of us. This caused us to fall way behind. When we finally got through our guide and group were no where to be found. I was able to find the elevator line that the group was on. Thanks to some kind people on the line they let us through to catch up to our group. When I finally saw our guide I asked him why didn’t he wait for us like he said he would? His answer was to accuse us of being too slow. He put us on the slow line and what guide doesn’t take a head count and make sure everyone is present before proceeding!
When we finally arrive at the elevator entry he says everyone would get on board the same elevator. We didn’t get on because the operator said it was full and wouldn’t let us on. We had to wait for the elevator to go up and then come back down before we were able to board.
Needless to say our guide was finished with the tour and everyone was dispersing.
We were supposed to learn about the history of the tower and it’s surroundings. What we learned was this Parisian guide couldn’t care less about us, acted incredibly unprofessional and we learned that skip the line in Paris means you wait over an hour to get through and you get little to none of what you paid for.
STAY AWAY from this tour company at all costs. You are better off buying ticket in advance and going it without a guide!
