As Aussies tour guide Angus was easy to understand and delivered his commentary in an entertaining manner. Angus also managed to keep us ahead of the crowds and engaged with the whole group.

We were able to book this tour at the last minute after finding out that tickets to the castle were sold out for the day! BEST TOUR EVER!! Sabella was our tour guide and she was accommodating, informative, knowledgeable, cheerful, and funny!! If you have the chance to request her specifically definitely do it!!!

English Ben - the best tour guide ever. Funny engaging full of knowledge - he had us all enthralled by bringing to life the hero’s, villains and associated characters that represent the history of Edinburgh Castle.

We booked to celebrate an anniversary and wanted to pack in as much as possible so castle tour was up there. Dubious. Thought it could turn out a ‘boring’ history lesson. Angus was our host. We were the only English people on our trip and he was honestly amazing. He interacted with the crowd. Ribbed us. Had fun. He was honesty brilliant. I never thought I’d laugh as much on a serious tour. He actually made me wish he was my history teacher at school, we learned so much but enjoyed it at the same time. As we walked out we overheard other tour guides and compared to Angus they were boring, monotonous and ****. Thoroughly enjoyed and well worth the money. Thankyou Angus from the Durham lasses
