The tour guide was very informative. He explained a lot, took time to stop along the way to point out highlights along the way. Also, the gentleman who checked us in was very friendly.

We had David as our tour guide. He was friendly, very knowledgeable about the local area and the castle. We really enjoyed walking around the castle and David kept our interest throughout. Unfortunately they don’t allow the tour guides inside the castle buildings and in certain areas which we found strange! Was still a good tour non the less!

The guide was very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything to us. He understood my husband’s limitations while he was using a walker and even met with the castle guides to use the lift to see the Crown Jewels.

The Castle is absolutely beautiful and so well worth a visit, use one of guided tours as they are full of information you might have missed going it solo. Allow plenty of time as the views are stunning and so much to see.

David is amazing!!!! He got so many trivias and he knows the castle very well. The tour is a must see when you visit Scotland.
