We’ll take you away from the guidebooks to our favourite local haunts. We’ll take you behind the scenes and introduce you to the families keeping Dutch food traditions alive and we’ll explore architecture and little-known historical sites along the way, satisfying the most curious of visitors. Our guides love to tell you their own Amsterdam stories, enhancing your experience while you eat, drink and walk (and boat!) along our canals with friends. Let’s dig into Amsterdam together and explore this historic city in all its glory.
Our 4-hour Amsterdam Food & Canals Tour is a guided walk through the unique cultural and historical sights of Amsterdam; it’s an hour-long, private boat trip through Amsterdam’s world heritage canals; and it’s a substantial meal in the form of a dozen delicious Dutch tastings from plenty of authentic foodie stops along the way – all in one!"

Great food tour. Would recommend. The canal ride was beautiful. A nice way to spend an afternoon.

Had such a fun tour while learning more about the food of the Netherlands. And met some fun people too! Well worth it.

Food was delicious but most interesting was the blending of the local history Dutch history and food history.

The Amsterdam food tour and canal cruise was such a perfect start to our vacation. Our tour guide, Katya, shows us all the ins and outs and she answered all of our questions regarding the city and what to do, etc. The food was also sooooo good - it gave us such great insight on where to go for the rest of the trip and a better understanding of what’s in Amsterdam. Highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting!!!

Katya was a wonderful tour guide! First we had a very nice canal boat tour where we tried bitterballen and a couple of other traditional Dutch Foods. From there we went to approximately 5 other food stops trying everything from apple pie to Indonesian food to Dutch cheeses. Katya was a fun and informative guide. My only criticism is I had trouble hearing her a few times due to her soft voice. Overall this was a great tour!

Tour was very informative and fun. Guide did a nice job adding history and cultural elements. Venues were fun and food was very good. Guide was a bit blunt (her words) at times which created some discomfort on occasion.
Overall was a fun way to experience Amsterdam and I would recommend to other travelers.

While the crummy weather was not the fault of the tour company, we felt that we did an excessive amount of unnecessary walking for this tour. The meeting place was nowhere near our first stop so we walked a long distance in the cold rain, only to double back afterward the canal tour. The sample of cheese on the boat is small and you’re only allowed one drink. Our tour guide made a pit stop for personal reasons while we continued to stand outside in poor weather and that was both unprofessional and irritating. We ended up leaving the tour after only a single food stop.

Our tour guide Danielle was awesome - the food at all the vendors was excellent! This is my second time on this foodie tour and both times were equally good.

Daniel was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable and organized. The canal tour was about an hour and then we walked to 4 other small restaurants. Fun to try different foods and walk through the cozy streets in Amsterdam. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, so be prepared with a raincoat and an umbrella if needed.
