We offer a great experience to explore the beauty of east Bali, especially the popular photography spot "Gate of Heaven" of Lempuyang Temple. We will start the tour at 08.00 from the hotel, it will take around 2 - 3 hours drive to Lempuyang Temple (Depend on location of your hotel). We will take you to the famous photo spot of "Gate of Heaven". If the sky is clear and weather is good, you will capture Mount Agung as background of the gate. Next, we will drive to Tirta Gangga, a former Royal Palace of Karangasem Kingdom. After visiting the palace, we will stop for lunch at local restaurant. Next, we will drive to Taman Ujung. It is a beautiful park with big fish pond surrounds the old Karangasem Empire heritage building. And our last stop is Virgin Beach, here you could chill and relax before driving back to hotel.

1. Lempuyang Temple
Lempuyang Temple is one of Bali’s oldest and most highly regarded temples, on par with Besakih (aka the ‘mother temple’ of Bali). It is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely a highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali.
2. Tirta Gangga
Tirta Gangga Water Palace is situated in the middle of rice fields around the natural springs of Rejasa, approximately 7 km. (5 miles) north of Amlapura, the main town of east Bali, Indonesia. Tirtagangga royal watergarden is composed mainly by water, plants and sculptures, is a well-known cultural object of Bali and it belongs to the royal family of Karangasem.
3. Ujung Water Palace
Taman Ujung Karangasem or also known as Taman Soekasada Ujung (Edge Soekasada Park) is a water palace that has a floating palace located on an area of more than 10 hectares in Tumbu Village, Karangasem Regency, about 5 km in the southeast of Amlapura. Taman Ujung Karangasem was built by the King of Karangasem in 1919 and completed in its entirety in 1926 before Indonesia independent. Taman Ujung Karangasem is a tourist destination in the East Bali region which was built since the Dutch era at the instruction of one of the King of Karangasem, namely I Ketut Gusti Jelantik.
4. Virgin Beach
Virgin Beach Bali offer you great panoramic ocean with pure natures surround it. The beach offers the wide space of swimming area through the calm seawater with sea breeze flows the fresh atmosphere. Meanwhile the location of the beach in the tranquility blended by peaceful ambiance. Hence, this makes it as a suitable place for relaxation. And also, Virgin Beach Bali is featured by white sand with clear seawater making the beach as an ideal place to go for swimming. The calm situation and far away from bustle city that reason why Virgin or Perasi beach is one of suitable place for relaxation and a quiet getaway. You can discover the Balinese traditional boats docking through the beach area that usually used used by local fisherman.

This tour is for people who love picture perfect scenery. The three places were beyond amazing and definitely worth the drive. The driver/tour guide Nyoman Budi was very nice and welcoming. He gave very insightful knowledge! I would definitely recommend

PS: it is important to note that if your interest in this trip is mainly cultural, it will be disappointing as all temples were off-limits, and the main focus was instegramable photos. It was originally our goal of this trip, thus the minus star. However, it was still enjoyable.

We had a really good time! Our driver Darma was so nice and told us plenty about the culture and would even take pictures of us. The communication was great! He was accommodating to our wishes and preferences during the entire tour.

Our experience with Nyoman, our driver, was super positive. He answered all our questions and requests expertly. He has always been very kind, helpful and discreet towards us.
The temples we visited are very beautiful and absolutely worth seeing if you are in Bali. At the gates of paradise it takes at least 2 hours of queuing to take a photo, but they are already considered in the tour.

My partner and I would absolutely recommend this private tour! Nyoman was a fantastic guide. He was so considerate and attentive to all of our needs and let us guide what we wanted out of the tour. Fell in love with East Bali and its extraordinary temples. The area is beautiful and unique. Our guide Ariana was brilliant! He told educated us on each area we passed and was a well of information. This trip is a must and one of our favourite so far.
