Aron was an excellent and flexible guide, and had an amazing ear for identifying birds. We had a great time on this tour, pleasing for everyone from experienced to new birders. Only 4 on the trip, and we went to multiple stops, wherever the birds could be found. Saw everything from a Keel-billed toucan to a pair of Barred Antshrikes and a crew of Scarlet-thighed Dacnis. The trip ended with breakfast in front of birdfeeders, where Crested Guans joined us for a meal.
I would have liked for it to be a longer trip, but otherwise, highly recommended.

Jaime knew his birds well, and did a great job of both showing us the local specialties and grabbing our attention when something really unusual (locally) turned up (Shining Honeyeater). He also knew the local fauna better: I should have let him know at the beginning that I’m into everything from frogs to sloths, as he was able to show us both a sloth and some of the strawberry poison dart frogs (locally known as “blue jeans frogs”).

Our guide Jaime Guzman had a super knowledge of the local area and took us to spots where there was a huge number of early birds flying around food sources. We visited a number of locations with a wide variety of species. The included breakfast was delicious and there were bird feeders to watch while you ate. He also took us on a couple of short hikes to habitats to look for different species. Highly recommended tour and tour guide.

An excellent bird watching tour. Aaron was great and very knowledgeable. We saw 50-odd species, including some hard-to-see species. The breakfast at the conclusion was also excellent.

On our birdwatching trip, we saw various birds. The guide was professional and competent. I recommend the excursion to all bird enthusiasts. You can take home photos as souvenirs of the birds.

Our guide, Edson, and driver, Andres, worked together to give us a fantastic birding experience. They drove us first to the base of the Arenal volcano where we saw dozens of tropical birds. We had one pair of binoculars and Edson lent us a second, plus he had a fantastic scope. We saw all three species of toucans native to the area, honey creepers, hummingbirds and warblers just to name a few. Edson’s knowledge was incredible. We walked down the road spotting more birds. Edson took many spectacular photos and videos with my cellphone, through his scope, that will remind us of this amazing experience.
Our second stop was Arenal Oasis, where we got very close to birds and took many more photos. Finally, we had a delicious Costa Rican breakfast with our guides that was included in the tour.
All told, we saw about 40 species of birds. Edson and Andres were very charming as well as knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour!

The day started with massive downpours and we were doubtful we would be able to see any birds, Jaime was very comforting and gave us as much information as he could even giving us the option to cancel. We are so glad we didn’t, both Jaime and Ricardo went out of their way to make it a memorable experience. Even in the bad weather they were able to find Sloths, Monkeys and amazing birds and species including a Toucan Nest. Couldn’t be happier with the trip and our guides. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent birding trip! We saw over 40 species, most of them lifers for us. We saw both toucans, several woodpeckers, parrots, parakeets, tanagers, bananaquit, a laughing falcon... There were even a couple of rare sightings - streaked flycatcher and yellow-tailed oriole! A scope was provided for the far away birds. See my picture of the laughing falcon using my phone on their scope, over 100 yards away.
