No question that the beguiling lights of Dyker Heights that you will spend an hour enjoying are the highlight of the tour, but there is much more.

Like no other, this tour will also weave through the holiday streets of lower Manhattan. Rolling through neighborhoods, like Chelsea, the Meatpacking District, Dumbo, Nolita, Soho, NoMad, and the Village. Your tour leader, your guide, is an experienced guy and will keep you interested and entertained.

Manhattan-bound after the dazzle of Dyker, you'll stop at Fulton Ferry Landing to be awed by the crystal clear views of Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge. Here It feels like you can reach across the East River and touch the city.

Later, after crossing Manhattan Bridge and heading North through Chinatown and the Bowery, you'll walk through Washington Square and see the Village tree. It's then onto the one, the only, Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. I

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Macy's Herald Square
Arrive early, and you can marvel over the famous Christmas shop windows before the bus departs from a nearby location.
2. Meatpacking District
As you travel downtown through Lower Manhattan, you'll pass through fascinating neighborhoods with intricate histories. Your New York guide will help you understand what you're seeing.
3. The High Line
As you head through the Meatpacking District, you'll see NYC's famous High Line, a magnificent park created from an abandoned rail trestle. Come back on another day to explore it.
4. New York Harbor
Finally, Brooklyn, as you emerge from the Battery Tunnel, you will see expansive views of NY Harbor. The beautiful Lady of the Harbor can be seen off in the distance.
5. Dyker Heights
You'll exit the comfy bus, and with your guide, explore the bejeweled and bedecked house and mansions of Dyker Heights. Street after street of adorned houses. There is nothing like it in NYC. You'll feel like a kid again!
6. Empire Fulton Ferry State Park
After the Heights, you'll begin your journey back to Manhattan. A stop at Fulton Landing will allow you spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline and the miraculous Brooklyn Bridge.
7. Washington Square Park
Back in Manhattan, after traveling through the outskirts of Soho, Chinatown, and Nolita, you'll visit Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village. There you'll see the Village Christmas tree framed by the famous arch. Off in the distance, the Empire State Building is lit for the holidays. Keep your camera ready.
8. Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree
You'll head up from the Village along Madison Avenue, seeing another Christmas tree in Madison Park. There are still Christmas sights, and your guide will surprise you with exciting bits of info along the Avenue. Finally, we'll arrive at the Palace Hotel on 50th Street and Madison Avenue, where you'll say goodbye to the bus and your excellent driver. With your guide, you'll walk past St. Patrick's Cathedral and over to the one and only Rockefeller Center Tree. There the tour will end. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Great option to see Dyker Heights.
J.A was a lovely tour guide, lots of information on the drive over.
When you get to Dyker Heights you have the option of walking round by yourself or following the tour guide around, which I think is a great option as you can walk round as quick or slow as you’d like as long as you are back at the bus by a certain point.
We really wanted to see the houses and was considering hiring a car but felt uncomfortable due to being different side drive that what we are used to, not knowing where to go and being extremely busy so this was perfect for us.
The houses and lights themselves are a MUST. They’re amazing and really get you into the Christmas spirit. Love how into the festivity some houses get.

JA is an excellent tour guide, consider yourself very lucky if you get him on this tour! So much knowledge, very engaging and passionate about New York. Bus driver Jesse managed to navigate us all skilfully and smoothly through crazy holiday traffic. Dyker heights is a truly unique experience and finishing up at the Rockefeller tree caps off an all around excellent tour.
