We went for the day in April. Goupe of 5 ranging from 18 to 73. 4 events, plus shopping and a stop for Lunch. Rajaye was our guide/driver for the day. Personable, fun and very accommodating. The shopping, like most trips like this are to their preferred stores selling souvenirs. Bought some expensive coffee, but if you were looking for that kind of souvenir stuff, probably cheaper than on the resort.
Blue Hole was by far the favourite part of the day. We had "VIP" treatment with a private guide - Michael and he was EXCELLENT. We got to do jumps and climbs that other groups did not. We also had the photographer take photos of our group throughout the experience and was worth the $80 USD for the 100 photos he took of our group of 5.
The last time we did Dunn's Falls, it seemed there were guides and helpers every step of the way, this time was not the case. Alright for the younger people in our group, was a bit of a challenge for my 73 yr old mother, but wr managed for her to enjoy some of it.
We would definitely book through Viator and Courtney Taylor Tours again.

Karlos and Benji were absolutely incredible. They were extremely friendly and charismatic. They communicated with us about where we were going and the amount of time each activity would take. They were prompt and on time for every pickup. They are absolutely hilarious and made the commute very enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone

Before you read my review read the review from Travelbeyond27834 on Jan 2023. It is a very similar experience to ours.

We booked Blue Hole/Dunns River Falls/Horseback and Tubing. Once in the van and on the way we were told that our family was not doing 4 excursions, only 3, and we had to choose between river tubing and Dunn's River Falls. I have email confirming 4 excursions. We were HIGHLY encouraged by our driver to skip Dunn's River Falls and do tubing. We did not want to impact schedule for other 7 people in our van so we agreed to pass on Dunn's River Falls, even though it was one of top destinations in Jamaica.

Our excursion tour left out of Falmouth. IMPORTANT: From Falmouth port to Blue Hole is 90 minutes!!! In total we spent over 3 hours in the van for approx 90 minutes of excursion time for the day. We did not stop for lunch, we were sort of offered to order ahead or get takeout. Based on Travelbeyond27834 review I'm kind of glad we didn't get the food after all. We ate breakfast on the ship at 6:30am and did not eat another crumb of food until 2:30, once we were back aboard the ship. We were also told that we'd be back to port by 1:00, in plenty of time for all aboard call at 2:00. Needless to say the ride back to port was stressful as the driver was visibly concerned that we would not make it back in time. We arrived back at port by 2:05 following some very creative driving. As the Travelbeyond27834 review said, the driver actually blamed it on the cruise ships for not staying in port long enough. Your are the local Tour Professionals and should know how many excursions to comfortably book to ensure guests enjoy each stop, are not rushed through the experience AND make it back to port on time.

As the Travelbeyond27834 review said the tipping in Jamaica was over the top. In addition to 2 Tour people in the van (only 1 of them doing the driving and talking), at each excursion location there were multiple people with their hands out for tips. With a family of 4 we had 4 different guides walking with our horses, Blue hole was just 1 guide and river tubing was 2 guides. At each stop I tipped one amount to 1 guide and told them to work it out with their peers. Not my job to pay each guide individually. Beyond that, NOT ONE guide said thank you at any of the locations. They all talked under their breath, in Jamaican slang, for a seemingly insufficient tip. While our driver did warn us that local guides could be aggressive regarding tipping, offering some guidance on what is considered a fair/reasonable tip would have been helpful. Americans tip 20%+ in general which I did in Jamaica as well knowing that 10-15% is customary, but I was admonished for it.

As mentioned in some previous reviews, if you envisioned beautiful, white sand beaches to ride your horse on, this is NOT the excursion for you. We walked down a small trail by a busy road littered with trash, through an open area where we had to lift several head high ropes (I think for laundry) so we could pass under. My guide asked me about 5 times while walking to beach if I smoked. Once at the beach, it was nothing like I imagined. The entire shoreline was littered with garbage. I've lived in NY/NJ and LA and have not seen that much garbage on a shoreline, ever.

While my family did enjoy the day in general, as the one making the arrangements, paying the money and assessing whether the overall experience was worth almost $600 + another $125 in tips? I'd say no. Get off the ship enjoy the very nice Falmouth port area and save your excursion money for other locations.

I have emailed the Courtney Taylor Team prior to writing this review to share my feedback in hopes of improving the experience for other travelers.
