Rauiri is a fantastic guide! He took us to 10 tastings in four hours! He knows so much history about the city and has so many great stories to tell. He has a great personality and is very entertaining. We enjoyed his company he made us feel very comfortable. I am now a Guinness because of him! 😀

I had a super experience with Ruairi! He is very knowledgeable about food and beverages and is a very good storyteller. He took me to a variety of pubs and shops and stalls for scones, cheese and sausage, nuts, beer, cider, chocolate, “toasties,” and more. We got to know each other a bit and laughed a lot. I encourage anyone who wants to sample the local foods to book Ruairi.

We had an amazing time with Carl. This tour was the kick-off of our time in Dublin and I’m so glad we did it. The food and drink were plentiful as were the stories and Dublin information. It was an afternoon of laughs, great bites, and friendship. I highly recommend this tour as a way to get a lay off the City and an introduction to the variety of traditional and non-traditional foods.

What a completely fantastic experience to spend some hours with Mydie learning the history and highlights of Dublin and the phenomenal food scene! This felt like an old friend was bringing you into her city and culture and creating a memory to last a lifetime
I chose Mydie based on her warm and friendly video on the WithLocals website and she was even more welcoming than that!! How is that possible!?!?
Spend the day with Mydie (rhymes with Heidi!) towards the front end of your trip because you'll want to revisit many of her stops or some places she'll point out

Ruari was prompt, easy to talk to, knowledgeable about the city, the food and the country history (or he was great at making things up! :). We got a good sampling of all and it was the perfect way for us to start our Ireland adventure. He certainly made us feel at ease right from the beginning!

We just wanted to praise our guide Ruairi for a really amazing tour. We had a fabulous time with him last evening wandering around Dublin getting so many fun and interesting bits of information about the city and its people. We enjoyed delicious food and drink and were well-prepped for even our other tours later in the week due to Ruairi's knowledge and experience. We cannot praise him enough for the humor, candor and fun. We really felt at home and at ease with him. We highly recommend a tour with Ruairi.
