A private and fully escorted whiskey and beer tour of Dublin in executive transport, celebrating the city's most famous exports - Jameson Whiskey and Guinness Beer. It's a city tour with whiskey and beer in it's heart, your Host will bring the city to life as you travel through many different districts of Dublin. This a private tour for you and your travel companions only (with shared tour at Jameson Distillery Bow St. and private tour at Guinness Storehouse).

We arrive at Guinness Storehouse at a little after 10am, before the masses. But don’t worry, we won’t be drinking beer right away if that sounds a little early in the day for you! Your Host will take you on a private tour of Guinness Storehouse. Then we travel across the River Liffey to Smithfield – to the original home of Jameson Irish Whiskey. Your Host takes you on a stroll of the buildings sharing ‘insider’ knowledge of the Jameson story and then you join the Bow St. Experience tour.

The wife and I had an amazing time with John, he was early to pick us up from our hotel, he is a
wealth of knowledge, he is very easy to talk to, funny, and patient, and he did not rush us at any time. This was the very best tour/sightseeing trip we have taken, we did not have to wait in long lines we were able to get right in for our tour, and the best part is John did our whole tour at the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery!!! I suggest 100% taking this tour with John!!!

Great experience with John! He contacted me before to confirm details and pick up location. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. It was also nice to have all of the logistics of the tours handled. He also gave us a great recommendations for eating and rugby-watching. Well worth the cost.

Our guide for our Guinness and Jameson tours John Cannely epitomized the best of white glove service. As we drivevthrough Dublin he shared much of the area’s history especially about the architecture which I found to be fascinating. He is an expert not only on the actual distilling process, but also made the whole process really come to life. When we were doing the Guinness tasting, he walked us around pointing out important landmarks including the Church that is the starting place for those walking the Paseo.

At Jameson, he introduced us to a delightfully refreshing drink of a shot of jameson over ice, add ginger ale, and a twist of lime. The Jameson tour guide did a great job and we had a chance to taste three great whiskeys. Before we left, however, John arranged for us to have a taste of their Middleton whiskey which is very rare and costs about 200 pounds per bottle if you can find it. Amazing.

Where John went over and beyond was helping us when all the trains from Belfast to Dublin were cancelled due to work on the line. He reached out to his network and secured a ride for us to Newley where we could pick up the train to Dublin.

His great service didn’t stop there. He sent us a list of his 10 favorite restaurants in Dublin. Thank you John for an extraordinary day and for helping us out of a major mess

We were in Dublin celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and had done some big bus tours. They were great, but the private tour was far beyond those big bus tours. John, our private guide, met us in our hotel lobby and gave us a tour of his city. He gave us a private tour of the Guinness and Jameson facilties. He seemed to know several of the staff and was able to maneuver around the big crowds and get into exhibitions with minimal wait times. At the end he dropped us off at a place of our choosing (try that with a big bus tour) and even took our souvenir purchases back to our hotel so we wouldn't have to lug them all over town.

We felt like VIPs the whole time, highly recommended!

This tour is a must do in Dublin. John our tour guide was so knowledgeable about Jameson whiskey and the history of Guinness. We had a great time touring in a small group through both sites. Would absolutely do the same tour again next time in Dublin! Who doesn’t love the chance to pour your own bottle of Jameson from the barrel, it will make a great gift!
