The entire night was a blast! We went on our first night in Dublin and after a full day of walking we were tempted to call it a day and just go back to our hotel but OMG we were glad we didn’t! We got there super early as it had started to rain and wouldn’t have had time to go back and come back out again and the hotel were more than accommodating to let us sit in the bar and wait they were very friendly. When we went in for the show even before the entertainment started the maitre d’ had us all laughing and was super lovely as we’re all the waiters, they were all very attentive, professional and again super friendly. The entertainment started and it was second to none. There was a lot of audience participation but not in a bad way that made you feel uncomfortable it was singing along asking where people were from etc and a bit of dancing if you wanted to ? the food was to die for as well! The whole night still gives me excited goose bumps as we had such an amazing night and so, so glad we didn’t go back to bed instead!!!! I cannot get over how friendly everyone was and how fantastic the night was 5 stars is nowhere near enough!!! Thank you!

This was an absolutely wonderful and entertaining evening! The music and dancers were amazing and they had delicious vegan options available. I went with my family while visiting Dublin and this was a perfect traditional Irish experience! Highly recommend.

Quick Summary: This combination of traditional Irish dancing and music, accompanied by a three-course meal, is absolutely worth the money. As a tourist, it isn’t often you get to experience local flavor and still feel you’ve gotten a good value, but this evening of entertainment will change that.

Expanded Review: You may not think a night of traditional Irish drinking songs would be the basis for a family friendly show, but when you take the tunes, the dinner, and some extremely talented dancers, everyone can enjoy Irish Nights at The Belvedere Hotel.

If you've caught the large spectacle Irish dance shows like Riverdance or Lord of the Dance, Irish Nights offers a far more intimate experience. There is a trio of excellent musicians on guitar, accordion, and bodhrán who accompany much of your meal. Audience participation is encouraged and, if ordered, the waiters will keep the drinks coming.

After an opening warm up, the musicians don't take a back seat to the dancers, but they do take to the back of the stage. This clears the way for the three male and two female dancers to fit a lot of entertainment into a very small space. I loved that all of the performers appeared to have a comradery and to genuinely be having fun; their attitude was infectious, and I found myself grinning through the entire performance.

There's no storyline per se, rather the show is a rotating set of vignettes alternating dancers, musicians, and combinations thereof. Several styles of traditional Irish dance are showcased. I only know enough to know the dancers were every bit as in sync as you would expect. The foot work is pretty amazing, and this is a great opportunity to hear and see it up close.

The gentleman with the broom handle was particularly lively and impressive in his coordination by never tripping himself as he displayed his skills. And, if you are brave enough, you could be chosen to be onstage with him to learn some basic steps. Those who volunteered, when I attended, gave a surprisingly earnest, but enthusiastic, effort, which may have made the resulting mayhem even more fun!

The dinner menu is advertised as traditional, but as a vegetarian, I can only say that my dish, shepherd’s pie, fit the bill. I thought the meal surprisingly good for such a setting, and the waiters discreet during the performance, but also quick to respond when summoned.

The Belvedere is a classy and understated venue and is the perfect setting for an evening of dance, music, food, and drink. I thought the cost for a meal and a whole evening of entertainment was of great value. I may have only been passing through, but the experience left me feeling as welcome as any local.

I flew from the uk to come see the Belvedere Irish night. People have Been raving about this for months and I use to be a Billy barry kid so watching tap dancing, Irish music and the famous Michael flatley background was just bliss!!! The three course meal was so tasty and the staff couldn’t be any nicer!! This was amazing to watch for me I’m Irish but equally a real proud show if you have guests from outside Ireland visiting I strongly advise you take them here!! They interact with the crowed and get them involved and even bring people on stage to try the riverdance for themselves should they wish to, The band spoke about instruments they used and gave some Irish history background through out the show!! It couldn’t have been better!! I strongly advise anyone wishing to have an UNFORGETTABLE night to book your tickets!! I can’t wait to go back!! Although there are lots of posts good reviews and excellent videos online you really need to be in the room to feel the energy to understand how truly powerful this show is!! I’m proud to be Irish ☘️ well done to the dancers on stage they were so professional and showed great skill!! I cried at one point watching this show!! I’ve travelled 73 countries and I’ve never seen an Irish show like it!! Well done to all!!! ❤️

This show was great. The three gentlemen shown on the advertisement were engaging, funny, and talented. This event started with a short film that showed the history of the Riverdance. I wish I could purchase that film. The film played while they served the food, which was very tasty. I had a cheese and tomato something - lol- for an appetizer. I ate the delicious stew and finished it off with a nice slice of cheesecake. Excellent meal. The show had four dancers that were very good. I was visiting Dublin for my birthday so this was terrific end to that celebration. The staff was so pleasant. My only complaint is that you must book for 2 people. I paid for 2 but was not afforded the 2nd meal that I pre-paid for. Small price to pay for an exceptional evening.
