Each season, as the weather begins to cool at the onset of winter, the gates reopen at Dubai Miracle Garden. With more than 150 million flowers in full bloom, this 72,000-sq-m paradise has flowered into one of the region’s most picturesque, sweet-scented destinations since it first opened nearly nine years ago – fittingly, on Valentine’s Day.

Dubai Miracle Garden was awarded by the esteemed Guinness World Records panel for having the largest vertical garden, in 2013, as well as the planet’s largest floral sculpture forming the shape of an Airbus A380, in 2016. Two years later, we built the tallest topiary sculpture in the world; the 18-metre sculpture feature was Disney’s first character floral display in the Middle East – officially licenced – and was made with 100,000 plants and flowers, weighing in at nearly 35 tons.

A 20 minute bus journey from the mall of the emirates. You have to use a ‘noll card’ to pay for your fare, which you had to buy with cash from the ticket office so remember to take cash if you don’t already have a ‘noll card’ (6 AED for the card and I think the bus ticket was 5 AED each way - you had to buy the card and the money on the card for a minimum of 25 AED). The buses were very regular and there is shade at the bus stop for when you are waiting for the return bus.

The garden itself was lovely, it was really colourful and we were there for around 2 hours. It is a very photogenic place. There are no water fountains so you need to have full water bottles before you go in.
The toilets were very clean and air conditioned - a nice break from the heat. There were plenty of food places once you were inside and lots of places to sit.
Before we went, I wondered if some of the flowers were fake or artificially coloured but they were all real.
The best view of the emirates plane was from the highest point, almost in the centre of the gardens.
We bought our tickets from booking.com which were slightly cheaper and also meant we got to skip the queue at the gates.

Beautiful flowers - huge amount of work goes into maintaining them. Family friendly. Personally needed more shaded areas for a more comfortable experience. Also - pretty sure we missed some of it. Not sure how as we were sure we walked round the whole place- but own fault for not looking at the map.
Still I would definitely recommend a few hours here.

After covering the Kite Beach in the morning, we went to Emirates Mall where we had lunch and then took a bus to Miracle Garden from there. Miracle Garden has buses going from Emirates Mall every 30 minutes. This bus is not considered under unlimited NOL pass and one has to separately pay for this trip which costs 10 AED if I remember correctly. 1.5-2 hours is sufficient for the Miracle Garden. This was my first time visiting such kind of place and I absolutely loved it. There were ample amount of seating everywhere and a lot of options when it comes to food. The attractions were beautiful and very well crafted. Dubai Miracle Garden is only open in winter months.
Entry Fee - Around 90 AED and 2000 INR for one person

What a magical place! Amazing idea to use nature to create something so breathtaking! We had a lovely time there and even tasted the famous kunefa dessert!
We were told by a taxi driver that it’s closed as we were there on 21st April, right after the flood. But the garden was open and it was still in amazing shape!

Beautiful garden. Amazing sculptures and great shops. Loved that it was a self-paced tour so you could take your time and enjoy the sites.

Upon arrival the security staff scanned my Bar Code and told us this ticket is for Butterfly Gardens so in order to go to Miracle Garden we had to buy the new Ticket despite showing him that the ticket was for Miracle Garden he said no it doesn’t scan… we literally had to buy 2 new tickets at the entrance… the worst part was when we finished the Miracle Garden Tour we then was forced to go to Butterfly Garden so we could use our online Ticket. We had to walk 10-15 minutes from Miracle Gardens to Butterfly Garden and at the gate the security guy dined the excess to Butterfly Gardens said the ticket we had was for Miracle Garden and at that point I was very disappointed and frustrated….. We requested to speak to someone who can solve our problems then the supervisor was even worst to give us some ridiculous excuses…. In the end we lost the online ticket money we purchased and never got the refunds for not using the tickets as well as all the humiliation…. This was a scam…. I would be careful with Viator online purchases… I would never recommend or use this services again.. it is really bad for Dubai Tourism image..
Very Disappointed Tourists

My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting this enchanting destination all the way from Australia, with Hera joining us for a week before our journey to Kenya. And let me tell you, what an absolutely breathtaking place it was! Never before have I encountered such an abundance of flowers in one location. The sheer beauty was truly awe-inspiring.

Exploring the area, we discovered numerous charming stores and delightful eateries, adding to the overall allure of the place. With so much to see and experience, a leisurely stroll could easily consume a good 2-3 hours, especially if you're not in a hurry. Given the opportunity, I would eagerly repeat this experience, savoring each moment and taking my time to fully appreciate the splendor around me.

I felt compelled to share a recent experience at the garden that I visited with my family. While the garden itself is indeed wonderful, I must express my concerns regarding the vendors in the form of a buffet and their persistent attempts to sell their products to visitors. This constant solicitation was rather disconcerting for us, and unfortunately, the staff members displayed an aggressive attitude towards tourists, which was quite unexpected.

During our visit, there was an incident where my three-year-old daughter was sitting on a small wall, and a security guard approached her in a rather unfriendly manner, instructing her to move with unnecessary force. This encounter left us quite unsettled as we had never encountered such a situation before in Dubai. Additionally, we encountered a cleaner using a leaf blower in our direction, despite our request for them to stop, which was rather disappointing.

Overall, the experience made me feel like I was in a different country altogether, rather than the welcoming and hospitable Dubai that I am accustomed to. I believe that such incidents should not be commonplace in a city that prides itself on its hospitality and tourism offerings. It is my sincere hope that the Dubai government looks into these matters to ensure the comfort and safety of all visitors to such attractions.

Based on this experience, I would urge caution and recommend avoiding the "Magical Garden Dubai" until necessary actions are implemented to address these concerns.
