• Adults are guests aged 12 years and above, children are 5-11 years old and infants are below 5 years old
• Our safari vehicles are long wheelbase off-road cars that are fitted with seat belts, roll cages and air-conditioning, and are licensed to carry up to 6 passengers, excluding the driver. By law, all passengers must wear seat belts while the vehicle is in motion
• For the safety of our younger passengers in the off-road vehicles, special seating is required and must be requested and booked in advance
• Child seat is required for 2 to 5-year-olds and/or 105cm – 125cm . For this age group, an exclusive vehicle must be booked. Please request a booster seat, if your child fits into this category. Please note that if this is not pre-booked, then we will not be able to operate the safari
• Booster cushion is required for children above 5 years old and/or under 135cms. For this age group, a shared vehicle can be booked
• Our safari guides are trained in first aid and carry first aid kits. Guides carry mobile phones and radios and vehicles are fitted with GPS
• Seating is not pre-allocated. During safaris, seating for passengers in one vehicle will be rotated
• We recommend that all passengers read our Safety Card which is available with the driver/guide in the vehicle before proceeding on our tours.
• Our safaris are conducted only in English
• Our safaris involve off-road driving through rugged country, which adds to the excitement of the tour. However, because of the adventurous nature and the rough terrain covered, you should not participate if your health or any pre-existing medical conditions (including heart ailments neck or back problems) may be adversely affected
• Vegetarian options and kids meals are available. Please advise at the time of booking if required
• Arabian Adventures supports the zero plastic initiative and single-use plastic is not used at our campsite. Instead glasses and water dispensers are available at the bar
• Dress code: modest dress, comfortable and closed walking shoes are recommended
• A portion of your fee supports conservation
• During Ramadan, experience the tradition of Iftar (breaking of fast) at sunset with traditional dates, hibiscus drink, sparkling date juice and a favourite - Vimto juice - in a picturesque setting on a dune
• Belly dancing is not available during Ramadan and will be replaced by a Tanoura dancer
• To ensure seamless service, please contact us 24h before the visit date to confirm your pick-up location and time. If pick up location is not shared in time, we might not be able to provide the service and refunds or reschedules will not be accepted.
• Should your excursion include transfers from and to your hotel, our Guide will meet you in the hotel's main lobby. Please ensure you are in the lobby at least 15 minutes before your confirmed pick-up time and inform the hotel concierge that you are waiting for an Arabian Adventures Tour or Safari.
• Our team on the ground will not be able to contact you if you are unavailable at the pick-up point at the designated date and time.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult. Infant seats available, however the seat requirement must be mentioned at the time of booking

We didn’t know what to expect in reality and we were thrilled with the entire experience

Hycent collected us from the hotel and took us up to the reserve. After a quick comfort break off we went into the dunes! No spoiler from me on what went on!

After the drive we stopped for photos and the sunset….again great location and superb opportunity to catch your breath!

A bar in the desert (chargeable) just 40 dhs for a beer or a spritz…complimentary soft drinks available too

Then onto the camp for food, drink, dancers, fire show, camel ride, sand skiing, henna and shisha

Simply amazing value for money, if you like a beer or wine get the upgrade which comes with all you can drink bar too!

Dropped back at the hotel after, total experience was superb value for money….started at 4pm pick up and 11/30pm drop off!

Thanks to Hycent and the Arabian adventures team! It was unbelievable 😀👍

I wanted to do something different for my 60th birthday vacation and I am so glad to experience this trip. Our tour guide was very helpful and friendly, I highly recommend him. He takes the best pictures as well.

We had the best time in the desert, perfect service and wonderful experience. It takes 5 hours for an exciting safari, a rally over the dunes in a 4x4 vehicle, some wildlife spotting and a wonderful dinner in a desert camp. A special thank to our driver Nwar, he made our day.

We’ve been to Dubai a few times but this is the first time we’ve done the desert safari. Have to say it was excellent, so much included for the price you pay so well worth the money. The views and setting itself are beautiful so you will take some incredible photos. We took our 2 small children and they loved every part of it - driving over the dunes, the camel ride, sand boarding, fire show, belly dancing…Special thanks and mention to our tour guide Ismail who was very attentive the whole experience and happy to answer the 101 questions we asked! He was extremely knowledgeable about the desert and Dubai in general, and made us feel completely at ease all evening. He made it feel like we were out with a good friend :) Highly recommend!!

We booked the desert experience which included pick up and return from hotel, dune bashing, optional quad biking and sandboarding, camel ride and bbq and show.
1. Pick up and return - good - be prepared for a long journey
2. Optional quad biking - even though none of our party wanted to do this, we were taken to a site and had to wait around for 20 minutes whilst we were harassed to buy scarves, food etc. TIP!! If you want to buy a bottle of water ASK how much first - we didn't and paid by card for 2 bottles and were charged $25 NZD each!!!!!! Lesson learned.
3. Dune bashing - good although lots of cars so a bit nerve racking. Sand was hard due to rain so driver had to drive carefully - happy with that. Stopped for a photo and of course guy with bird turns up getting you to have a photo with it for money.
4. Camel ride - good experience however you are on it for literally minutes walking round in a circle.
5. Camp - massive chaotic queues for food spoiled the experience for us. Could have been better organised.
6. Show - belly dancer excellent as was the fire dancer.
Overall - look, it's a great experience of parts of Dubai culture, just a lot of hanging around, just felt that it wasn't the best value for money and the camp could have been better organised.

The trip was very beautiful and worthwhile. From the hotel pick-up and drop-off by a person from their staff to the desert experience with bbq,camel riding, dance shows and 4x4 dune driving, the trip was amazing. On top of that, our guide and driver, going by the name Hycent, was an amazing tour guide both inside and outside of the reservation, since he told us about all of the ins and outs of the UAE's past, present and future. I reccomend this experience and recommend Hycent even more.
