• The cruise is under the responsibility of the cruise operator (subject to weather and navigation conditions).
• Generally, our tours are carried out in Portuguese or English, an extra language can be added if there is a minimum number of users. Only French and Spanish languages are guaranteed in activities
• Duration: duration is approximately 10 hours, the tour is subject to local traffic, visiting times, etc.
• Collection: At hotels in the center of Porto. For private accommodation and other types of accommodation, the meeting point is next to the statue of Vimara Peres, close to the Porto Cathedral.
• Collection and delivery is not included in Vila Nova de Gaia and Matosinhos (hotels and other accommodation).
• Reservation is mandatory and requires an email request/confirmation. Reservations must be confirmed at least 48 hours before the service date.
• All tours depart from Porto.
• The pick-up and drop-off service is not included in the TOUR ONLY option.
• The services included in the tours (visits to wine estates, restaurants, etc.) are subject to the availability of third parties and other groups/participants may be with the group during the experience. Schedules may be changed without prior notice.
• Most travelers can participate.
• Please note that the total duration of the activity may be affected by traffic conditions. We strongly recommend that you do not schedule any additional activities or make other plans in the hour after the scheduled end time.
• Vegetarian and gluten-free meal options are available if requested prior to the day of booking. Please let us know before the tour starts.
• This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If canceled due to not reaching the minimum number, you will be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Firstly, Duoro Valley is stunning. This is a bucket list destination.
Secondly, we booked online with no problems for a very reasonable rate considering everything that was included.
Our driver/guide Pedro was on time, welcoming and friendly. We were a group of 8 in a clean, maintained, and comfortable van. While our cruise was about 20 ppl on a boat that could seat 40 inside and out. The cruise went for about an hour, and then we were treated to fresh and delicious Pasteis de Nata and Tawny port. Next, we were given the option of scenic train (additional cost), or scenic road with panoramic photo stop, to picturesque Pinhão train station. Then, onto a charming village with a richly decorated church - a hidden gem. En route, we were privileged enough to encounter a religious procession. Lunch was local fair, DELICIOUS, and plentiful. The infamous wine tasting was VERY informative, interspersed with other delicious tastings, unhurried, and there was no pressure to buy - a really lovely experience. Lastly, we stopped in Amarante to view another gorgeous church before returning to Porto on time. This trip exceeded our expectations and would thoroughly recommend it.

The tour was amazing and the views were breathtaking. Our guide Nelson was just incredible. Douro valley was a site to see and especially thanks to Nelson. It’s a must to see and ask for Nelson you won’t be disappointed!!!!!

Our guide Nelson was personable, fun, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We had a wonderful tour by private car to the Douro Valley, a boat ride on the river, a wine tasting tour and a delicious traditional Portuguese lunch. We also visited some points of interest in small towns along the way. Another small group travelled along in a van and it was fun getting to know the others. A very enjoyable day and I highly recommend this tour.

Pietro gave us an amazing experience! He made sure our group was taken care of and went out of his way to stop at some scenic viewpoints that were not part of the tour schedule. He was always enthusiastic and had great energy. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely trip to different little villages in Douro valley.
Paolo was very kind, he explained a lot about the winery and history of the valley .
Food was very good. The restaurant had a great view.
The wine tasting was entertaining and we had a good zip of different wines including a very old Portwine .
We absolutely recommend this tour and especially Paolo.
