Excellent trip. Well guided. Worth one time trip. Wine tasting and Food was excellent. Nine hours trip, which includes 1.30 hrs travel time one way.

What a memorable experience. The Douro Valley is breathtakingly beautiful and full of friendly people. Our guide Igor was an amazingly engaging and resourceful person. Despite some unexpected events ( eg a bike race delay caused a lengthy road closure ) he made the adjustments needed with great support from his team. We completed the whole plan and had some great impromptu experiences. Could not ask for more.

Everything was amazing. Everyone was so nice and excited. Very welcoming people, Flavio was the best great energy, funny jokes and he’s the best. Would recommend, and would come back and do it again.

This was the best tour we took in Portugal, and we'd highly recommend it. The small bus was brand new, and our guide Manuela, was very informative and personable. So incredibly scenic, and so much history! It was fascinating to learn about the winemaking process and about all the different regions. The trip to the vineyard and the tastings were super fun. Go!

Calling two glasses of port wine a wine tasting is a bit presumptuous.
I had already booked the tour 5 years ago. There were at least 3 port wine tastings with further tasting options. You also received further information outside of the actual tour directly at the tasting. The boat trip was carried out with normal boats and not with traditional ones like back then.
The wine tasting that followed was also unspectacular. Again only two wines to choose from. The lunch beforehand was unpretentious. No comparison to the tour in 2019.
Tour guide rushed through the day.
As much turnover as possible desired. Bus with 32!!!! people... Before that there were six to eight guests.
I won't book it again. I'd rather have it more expensive and with better quality. Unfortunately that wasn't it.

The Douro Valley was beautiful even on a semi rainy and overcast day! Antonio (our guide) was very knowledgeable and had great humour which we appreciated! Highly recommend the wine tour. The boat ride wasn’t our thing though, we would have been better sitting somewhere warm sipping another glass of wine!

We had a wondrous day at the valley, even though the weather was acting up a bit. Our guide Manuella and driver Lino made a good team bringing us through 2 wine tastings , lunch and a river cruise. The wine tasting sessions to be honest could go with better accompaniments, cos only bread and water were available. At one session no water either. Nonetheless Manuela was a solid guide and entertained with her wicked sense of humor.

Realistically the 9hr breakdown is as follows:
- 5hrs travel to and fro from the valley (2.5hr each)
- 2 vineyards + lunch (3hrs)
- 1hr boat cruise
Strangely there wasn’t enough wine tasting during the tour (based on my previous experiences in participating in other wine tours). Each vineyard only offered 2 glasses each
The 1st vineyard was super underwhelming, serving 1 red and 1 white wine. To me it tasted pretty plain/mild and I’ve honestly had better…
The 2nd vineyard was more promising, featuring the oldest port wines in the valley. This was pretty good with a nice modern facility, and we ended up buying some port wines as a souvenir. This was also the place where I note that most of the people on tour actually bought souvenirs vs the 1st vineyard
All in all the company did an okay job in the organization and delivery of the tour, but I would love more wine tasting than what was offered. If you’re expecting lots of wine tasting, you should re-consider this tour

Although we hated the taste of Port wine, amazing tour! Great lunch with an even better tour guide and even better views! Definitely get your moneys worth but be prepared for a long day!
