We loved the fact that it was a super small group (4 people). Our guide was pleasant and very knowledgeable. We saw many hidden gems in the Douro Valley. It was a very memorable experience. .

We travelled from Porto to the Douro valley for the day. It included visits to two vineries, a boat and lunch. Our guide, Miguel was very knowledgeable and really made the day for us

Went to the wrong winery which actually ended up being really nice, but it set the rest of the day behind, so lunch was rushed and the driver at times was driving a bit erratic (scary). The cruise was a big disappointment because there was zero commentary. Would’ve been nice to be told more about the area, river, etc…
Overall, this tour was okay, but not great.

Our tour was well planned and our guide was excellent. My wife and I both enjoyed the two wineries and the boat cruise. As you can see by the photos, the Douro Valley is beautiful and a must see when visiting Northern Portugal.

A great day tour with delicious wines and beautiful views from the boat and vineyards. We enjoyed the authentic home cooked meal, great explanations of the port making process, and historic archives of the vineyards. The two winery and cruise combination was a full enough day without adding a third winery due to the travel time needed to and from the Douro Valley.
Our guides, Alvaro and Ricardo, were very knowledgeable and funny. They worked together very well and had complimentary skill sets.
We were able to ship wines back to the US, so we will be able to share a taste with our friends and family back home. Recommend this tour.

Everything worked so perfectly even though rain was in the forecast! Wine tasting at a small winery followed by the Duoro River cruise and then Lin CC h at a beautiful winery atop a hill overlooking the valley! Local Portuguese food served with the port wines and the hosts were very hospitable and friendly! Rain only came after we were leaving! It was a PERFECT trip with the best guides, Alvaro and Ricardo!!!!

We went on this tour in May and I ordered wine from each of the 2 wineries we went to. They charged my credit card but apparently both wineries forgot to send the wine. Im now having to do some detective work to figure out exactly what the name of one of the wineries was. I have the receipt but there is no information on it regarding name, phone number or address. The other one I figured out....but am waiting to see if they send the wine.
I ended up calling Trip Advisor and hopefully theyll be able to get a hold of the tour operator who hopefully knows what the name of the winery was. Frustrating! Other than that, it was a nice day.

This tour exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 5 (friends and family) and we wanted to experience the Douro Valley in a small group. For this reason and the high ratings we selected this tour. We were pick-up rigbt on time and traveled in a small van with air conditioning. Antonio our driver is very kind and upon our rquest he stoped in Pinhão train station to see the azulejos. Everything was well coordinated from pick-up, vineyards selection, lunch, 1 hour boat tour dop off. The valley is beautifull and the boat tour (its a most) gives another perspective of the region. This is an exceptional 1 day tour from Porto. We highly recommend this tour.
