Wine tastings were excellent. So was the cruise and lunch. Rodrigo was an excellent guide. We were also lucky to have a fun compatible group. The scenery was amazing around every curve in the road. Thank you for a wonderful day!!

Well the whole experience stated off with the pick up being changed to a earlier time which resulted in my wife and I missing breakfast. However with the heavy traffic we now understand why it was changed.
This tour was worth every penny and more. It had breath taking views of the Douro Valley and the owners of the first private vineyard we visited were so warm and welcoming. we tasted their wines in magnificent surroundings. The boat trip was very relaxing sipping cold wine which we had brought earlier. The dinner which we had later was delicious, it was typical portuguese cuisine. Our last stop was at a commercial winery, I felt the tour around this one was too fast, we had to follow the guide and you could not always hear what was been said. What contributed to this great day was a wonderful, amusing, interesting small group of people mainly Americans and a very knowledgeable, interesting guide Miguel, who was also our driver.

The entire tour was wonderful. The hosts were knowledgeable, fun and engaging. The wineries were spectacular. My wife does not drink wine and they were more than accommodating to have offerings for her. The lunch was at a winery, on a beautiful outside patio and the food was wonderful. I’d highly recommend this tour and company.

We were in awe of the beauty of the Douro Valley, especially seeing via the boat tour. We were not familiar with port wine so the tours were interesting (and good!) Our guide grew up in the area and knew a lot about wine. Definitely a tour to include on your vacation!

Had the best day and our guide Joao Dias was just amazing. The vineyards were beautiful and their teams were so informative and welcoming. The river cruise was breathtaking and the lunch was delicious. Couldn’t ask for a better trip!

Absolutely loved this tour. Full day with visits to multiple wineries, amazing sceneries and a boat ride on the river. Tour guide Miguel was great and fun to hand around. Would highly recommend, well worth it.

Miguel was an awesome guide! Douro is such a special place. Stops for lunch and 2nd tasting could have been more scenic. We went to Quinta Santa Eufemia and Quinta Do Portal. And more wines available to taste would have been preferred. But overall a very good experience.
