WHAT TO EXPECT

During the trip, the guide will talk about Portugal, the areas we go through, as well as answer any questions you want. Along the way, we will pass very important regions, such as: Amarante, the land of green wine; Serra do Marão, where we will cross one of the biggest tunnels in Europe; Vila Real, a very important city in the development of the northern region. The trip will be fantastic, where you will know and learn different stories of our country.
2. Miradouro Torguiano De Sao Cristovao Do Douro
One of the most beautiful viewpoints in Douro Valley. The guide will give you a fantastic explanation about the demarcated region of the Douro. All the secrets of Port wine will be unraveled. After the explanations, guests will have the opportunity to take fantastic photos. The guide will be available to take good pictures with your cell phone or camera. This place you will never forget.

Lovely boat cruise you will have. It will not be an ordinary boat, but an experience in a Rabelo, the typical boat that transported the barrels to Porto, more special. The location of this cruise is considered one of the most beautiful areas of the Douro Valley. We will be surrounded only by vineyards. 4. Pinhao
We will have lunch in a local Restaurant. You will taste the gastronomy of northern Portugal. A unique experience around the table! As we only have small groups, it will be a pleasant moment to socialize, exchange experiences, and taste typical Portuguese products. Everything is inclusive. You will have the opportunity to taste 2 different Douro Doc wines, unlimited quantity:)
5. Pinhao
We go to the winery that is considerate the jewellery of Douro Valley. One of the Best wineries in the region (High Class), and one of the most important Port Wines. I guide will show the secrets of that place, where they produce on of the best Port Wines in the world. The wine tasting will be unforgettable. Besides the wine you will also taste gourmet olive oil of Douro. Beautiful place to take great photos.

A 5 stars wine producer. You will have contact with all the different stages of wine production, from the vineyards to the stamping place, passing to the barrels and finish in botteling. Most of the work, is handmande. They have very exclusive wines. Wine tasting will be served in a magical place.
7. Peso Da Regua
We will take the most beautiful road in Portugal, the National Road 222. Beautiful sights, always side by side with Douro River. Incredible trip until Peso da Regua. Then you'll be able to relax, and even sleep a little on the way to Porto. It will be a day full of new experiences that you will want to repeat.

Bruno, Burno, Bruno - the BEST guide ever; what an amazing day we had. Bruno provided much insight on the drive to the country and finally seeing the Douro was breathtaking. We made several stops for fantastic photos. And the wineries were truly very upscale as described in the tour description. Our delicious lunch on the mountain with wonderful views was so magical. We also loved the cruise down the Douro and Bruno secured us a prime area of the boat for more great photos. Bruno kept the pace very relaxed so we could fully enjoy embrace experience. This tour and Bruno will be long remembered. Do not miss this tour opportunity.

Our Douro Valley tour was awesome! Bruno our tour guide was great, entertaining, and made it a memorable experience. The smaller tour was the best way to go. The Douro Valley was 10 times better than Napa Valley and well worth visiting!

If you want to see a beautiful place that is outside of the city, I would recommend this tour. The landscape was stunning with amazing vineyards to sample wines. Also, if your group loves to have a good time, ask for Bruno, he will make it a true adventure that allows you a relaxed environment to enjoy.

Our guide, Bruno, did an excellent job keeping us entertained and informed.

Wonderful day trip to the Douro Valley to experience what the region has to offer including the jaw dropping scenery, river cruise, olive oil, good regional food and of course the wines and ports. Miguel was our guide in a small group of 7. He was so knowledgeable and interesting and had many fun facts and stories to tell about the places we were seeing. We had choice of lunch entrees but most of us opted for the fish and Miguel showed us how to remove the bones, drizzle with olive oil to really enjoy it. Even the drive from Porto to the Douro Valley went quickly and was really enjoyable. The small group size was perfect. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was easy and convenient.

My wife and I went to Porto and decided to book a tour to the Douro. It was the best decision we made. Pedro, our tourist guide, picked us up very punctually, then we went on the road in a van to a town called Piñones. There we took a boat that took us all along the river through the vineyards. Pedro was explaining to whom the different vineyards or farms belonged.

Later he took us to lunch at a delicious place with all kinds of meats and desserts. Obviously during the experience he is giving wine tastings from green wine, organic white, Duero red (which I love and am a fan) and of course Ports. Finally the experience ends in two different villas where there is not only wine tasting but also exquisite olive oils.

My recommendation is that people be careful with the amount of wine they drink at each stop. It can be easy to end up a little tipsy if you're drinking wine like it's water.

The truth is that we couldn't have had a better end to your trip than this tour. I know it's a little pricy but it's worth it. From start to finish it is wonderful.

Everything about the tour was excellent. Our tour guide Miguel was great; informative, funny and extremely helpful. Would recommend this tour to anyone interested in wine or just the beautiful scenery of the Douro Valley.

Pick-up at our accommodation is certainly a plus. The stops for wine/port tastings were good, a mix of large scale and small. Lunch at Cafe Jovem in Marmalel was a highlight. The valley is beautiful and worth eh 1.5 hour drive each way to experience it. The boat ride was brief, and - imo - not a particular highlight, though it was very nice.
