The Douro Valley, World heritage and one of the oldest wine producing regions in the world, has unique landscapes and delicious treats ready to amaze you.
This region is home of the famous Douro Wine, specifically the Port wine.
As soon as we arrive we will sample the amazing treats that the valley has to offer: almonds, its traditional bread and its delicious honey, all paired with Douro´s red, white and rosé wines.
Then, we will head to the Pinhão train station, where you can see the history of Douro's wine industry in typical blue&white portuguese tiles. You can also go for an optional boat ride.
After, we will visit a family-owned winery with access to an exclusive lunch menu with all included and paired with White, Red and Port Wines. After lunch you will have a Port Wine tasting in which you will sample several different years.
Before arriving in Porto, we will visit Amarante, for a final tasting of its treats.

My daughter and I joined three other couples on this well organized but relaxing tour of the Douro Valley wine region. The tour was well paced and varied. After leaving our meeting place in downtown Porto, our first stop was a small scenic community where we enjoyed alight breakfast and a sampling of both red and white “green” wine. Late morning we tasted a number of wines from a winery tasting room offering a spectacular view of the river, valley, and other local vineyards. A one hour boat ride followed. Our final stop was a very tasty multi course late lunch with local wine parings, including port wine, presented in a manicured garden.
All of the hosts at the various stops were cordial and welcoming, but our guide, Tiago, really helped make the tour special. He was amiable, witty, humorous, and knowledgable. I would highly recommend this tour.

Thank you to Americo for being a wonderful tour guide! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny and a fantastic driver - especially down those narrow streets. He made sure we were all happy and it is obvious he enjoys his job - he really made the experience 5 ⭐️!
The wine & food tastings, tours and boat trip were all lovely - there was a lot more wine than we had thought, making it even better value for money. Make sure to have breakfast, though (!) as your first drink is at 9am. We enjoyed all of the wines (especially the white vin au verde) and the olive oil was delicious. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing day!! Love it to the morning till the end of the day. We started with a nice breakfast with wine, cheese and ham. That was delicious. Then we continued the wine tasting all day long. The region is exceptional, so green! The cruise was relaxing. A special thanks to our guide, she made our day! We highly recommend :-).

It was a small group, and everyone got along really well. Our guide was exceptional and will recommend him to anyone. Athough the ride was longer than expected we enjoyed each other and had a wonderful me. Went up in the mountains to Douro Valley, rode the river boat and went wine testing to a couple of places. Lunch was included and it was magnificent. If you like wine and like to see the country side, this is a tour to take.

Pedro was a fantastic tour guide. He provided good conversation on the drive to Duoro Valley and was very attentive to all the guests throughout the tour. He made the trip fun. The tour was a wonderful experience and great value for money. Highly recommended!!!
