The Douro Valley, World heritage and one of the oldest wine producing regions in the world, has unique landscapes and delicious treats ready to amaze you.
This region is home of the famous Douro Wine, specifically the Port wine.
As soon as we arrive we will sample the amazing treats that the valley has to offer: almonds, its traditional bread and its delicious honey, all paired with Douro´s red, white and rosé wines.
Then, we will head to the Pinhão train station, where you can see the history of Douro's wine industry in typical blue&white portuguese tiles. You can also go for an optional boat ride.
After, we will visit a family-owned winery with access to an exclusive lunch menu with all included and paired with White, Red and Port Wines. After lunch you will have a Port Wine tasting in which you will sample several different years.
Before arriving in Porto, we will visit Amarante, for a final tasting of its treats.

It was a small group, and everyone got along really well. Our guide was exceptional and will recommend him to anyone. Athough the ride was longer than expected we enjoyed each other and had a wonderful me. Went up in the mountains to Douro Valley, rode the river boat and went wine testing to a couple of places. Lunch was included and it was magnificent. If you like wine and like to see the country side, this is a tour to take.

Comfortable, informative, good value. Boat ride was very good addition and enjoyable. Nicely paced. Never felt rushed.

Pedro was a fantastic tour guide. He provided good conversation on the drive to Duoro Valley and was very attentive to all the guests throughout the tour. He made the trip fun. The tour was a wonderful experience and great value for money. Highly recommended!!!

We had a wonderful time on our Dour Valley wine trip. Our guide Marcelo (hope I’m coming close to spelling his name right) was fantastic. He was wonderfully funny and very friendly and really made the whole trip unique. If your traveling in a group this would be a great group outing but even traveling as a couple, my wife and I met 5 wonderful people and had so much fun I’ll never forget them.

Although this is the second time that we have made this beautiful visit to the Douro Valley, we are still amazed by the beauty of the landscapes. You will be won over by this beautiful region, the tastings of wine, Port, olive oil and honey, all enhanced by the knowledge of our very friendly guide Pedro. Without forgetting the boat trip on the river with very informative comments from Captain Ugo followed by the meal in the magnificent Barros estate which overlooks the vineyards 😊.
