The Douro Valley, World heritage and one of the oldest wine producing regions in the world, has unique landscapes and delicious treats ready to amaze you.
This region is home of the famous Douro Wine, specifically the Port wine.
As soon as we arrive we will sample the amazing treats that the valley has to offer: almonds, its traditional bread and its delicious honey, all paired with Douro´s red, white and rosé wines.
Then, we will head to the Pinhão train station, where you can see the history of Douro's wine industry in typical blue&white portuguese tiles. You can also go for an optional boat ride.
After, we will visit a family-owned winery with access to an exclusive lunch menu with all included and paired with White, Red and Port Wines. After lunch you will have a Port Wine tasting in which you will sample several different years.
Before arriving in Porto, we will visit Amarante, for a final tasting of its treats.

I would definitely recommend. 😁 The valley is beautiful, the boat trip stunning and wines are a perfect addition to the whole experience.

What a gorgeous day in Duoro! Lots of beautiful views, good wine, and nice company. We enjoyed our tour and Tiago was a wonderful guide. The optional boat ride in the middle was so worth it. Just a great day!!

A great experience with a wonderful guide who was both friendly and informative. The scenery alone is worth the trip. The optional boat ride is worth the money. Just make sure to buy a bottle of wine at the winery so that you can sip on that as you view your gorgeous surroundings.

Had a fantastic day with Pedro! He was very attentive and planned the day out really well. He actually had us arrive about a half hour early to beat the crowd since a few tour groups go through the same spots. Be prepared - it’s a long day! I’m not a huge breakfast eater but definitely recommend planning it out to stop for coffee and a little breakfast before the tour. The first stop was only a bit of bread and almonds and a bunch of wine! Everyone we came into contact with at the stops were super sweet. The last stop was actually our favorite - a cute little town called Amarante. I could’ve stayed there for hours walking around and exploring the quaint little town. Overall - would recommend this tour! Group of 8 was perfect too so you get to know all the people on your tour well.

We enjoyed the beautiful views of the vineyards. The lunch and the Port tasting was fantastic! Dodging the rain and their ability to keep us comfortable was a huge plus!

We were extremely pleased to book the tour last minute on a Sunday especially as we just got into Porto the day before, the tour was full but there was the option to call the organisers and Andre managed to accommodate us. This was the only tour where you had this option which we totally appreciated. We paid for the tour on the day, not in advance. Again it was good to be able to do this rather than part with a lot of cash up front and you’re not sure if the organiser will turn up.
The day was fantastic, Tiago was the perfect host, helping each of us, the whole group of 8, with our needs and questions, very flexible, he also picked us up and dropped us at our respective hotels at the end of the day.
We stopped for breakfast which was red and white wine with meats and bread.
The next stop was for another breakfast was also amazing!
We had enough time to enjoy the stunning scenery, tiago and all the respective vineyard hosts were very informative all the way through. It was a lot of fun and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The price point for the whole day was perfect, affordable and worth it for what we got, 2 breakfasts with wine, olive oil, honey…, a 3 course lunch, lots of wine and port tastings! A boat ride.
Thank you Tiago and Andre, we took a chance on booking this tour last minute not knowing what it would be like but as it turned out it was perfect for the day we had, well worth it! We would all definitely do it again and recommend to others.

What a fun day! A small group so it was easy to speak to our amazing guide for the day, Pedro, and with our fellow passengers.
My wife and I had a wonderful time - the choices of wineries was spot on (and the olive oil was perfection!) and the river cruise was beautiful.
I would highly recommend this trip - I'm sure all the guides are great but Pedro was the best!

This is an excellent tour. 2 vineyards, a port cellar, lunch and a local bar. Tiago (a former chef) is super knowledgeable about food, wine and Portuguese culture. A must-do while in Porto!
