Just know that skip the line doesn’t meant that there isn’t a line at all. Still took about 30 minutes in the que and there was not a lot of signage to indicate where to wait. Beautiful castle however and so many beautiful pieces of art.

Tour guide was amazing! Only thing the for confusing is at the end of Doge’s we were late for another group for the second tour with same tour guide. But not her fault

Great tour guide. Very informative, just the right length of time. Quite a few stairs to climb so not suitable for people with walking problems.

This was a self guided tour to the Doge's palace that I purchased through Viator. The tour itself was good and the palace was amazing.
However, When I picked up the 2 tickets for my wife and I, they were just basically print at home tickets that I could have purchased directly myself. The tickets were $25 Euros each ($50 euro total), but Viator charged me $125 usd. I was surprised at the market up.
There was also no mention of skip the line on the tickets, but since we went in the morning skipping the line wasn't an issue. The VR experience must have been the free app they installed on my phone. Not sure what the guide book was all about since we didn't get one.
I'm not sure Viator should have charged me so much. I'll definately do more home work before booking through Viator

Our tour guide was very good at filling you in on the paintings meanings and what the purpose of each room was. Along with the history of Venice and in a short amount of time.

I was expecting more from our guide. Our tour started 15 mins late and while our guide was energetic and friendly the info provided was superficial. I had read some cool facts before the trip and had to ask about them because she skipped it.
She was also quick to leave after going through the bridge of sighs. Saying explore more on your own. There was no VR experience. Expensive for the experience.

The tour through the Doge’s Palace was made memorable by the knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide. Although the tour was under an hour, it was very extensive.

I would have wanted to go, but I made the reservation on April 14 and the visit was on April 15, I wanted to do it for May 15, but I put the wrong date, we were in Mexico, I realized immediately, aware of the time difference I tried to locate them via Tripadvisor, Viator and Vence Tours, searching their pages for help, an email, WhatsApp, a telephone number and the only telephone number I found was Venice Tours, a recorder in Italian!!! (I am 73 years old, very clumsy for these things), Then the same 14 send an email to: marketing@venicecitytours.it from which to date I have not had a response!!!, explaining the situation/the error and asking them please and if it was possible to They recognized the payment as already made and moved the tour to May 15 (we will also be on the 16th).
Today I forwarded the same email to Venice Tours, and I found on their Tripadvisor page a telephone number from Spain that I will call tomorrow as a last attempt (+34 911776743)
I hope my message is useful to you

Price of €25 fit this self guided tour. The Doge's Palace was fascinating and a definite must-see. I recommend getting the audio tour, which is an additional fee. You still have to wait in line. The company that provided the tickets wasn't well organized, so I had to figure it out on my own. Also, as many others have commented, the staff at the Doge's Palace (separate from the ticket seller) was extremely rude.

It did what it says, skip the line tickets, collection from Venice Tours, perfect, very helpful and pleasant assistant. A great guide book about Venice, and the area. We skipped all queues and had a comfortable ramble around the Doges Palace in our time. You could purchase an audible guide, but we decided to read the boards. An extra bonus was the Museum of Correro, very interesting and lots to see. And an extra extra bonus was a VR experience, tour through the history of Venice, light and interesting.
