We booked our tour through Viator (Venice Tours). After a confusing start we met our guide Gloria who was absolutely fantastic. She had great knowledge and took the time to tell us all about the history of the Doges' Palace. We were able to take plenty of photos and we didn't feel rushed. We came away feeling very happy and thought the tour was fantastic value for money.

Doges Palace is beyond amazing with so much history and beautiful architecture. Pick up for the tickets was quick and easy with the help of the people at the business. Downloading the app and audio was a bit of a struggle due to lack of quality phone service, however the experience was great.

Skip the line tickets still required waiting in entry line but associates at the travel agency office were kind and helpful. The VR experience was gimmicky but we still enjoyed it and as an included bonus was a worth while experience. Might be better to just buy skip the line tickets through the museums directly.

Tickets purchased through TripAdvisor are a great way to get scammed out of money. On the official website they cost €30, here you spend €13 more for a fake audio guide: they make you download an app that you can find yourself, whose guides are ridiculous to say the least: a feeble voice reads a fifth grade essay that he doesn't say anything.

I purchased a skip-the-line ticket for the Doge's Palace with audio guide.
Too bad that the audio guide, downloaded from a mobile phone, was additionally paid for at crazy prices.
So I purchased the guide through the offices of the ducal palace for 5 euros without earphones.
Not a positive experience as it only creates nervousness in places that deserve to be visited with other moods.

The audio guide was very temperamental. Everything else all worked well and easy to use and generally clear as long as you read the booking instructions properly

Thoroughly enjoyed the Doge's Palace and "skipping the line" but there really wasn't much of a line like other places - still a good move on our part. Didn't realize the audio guide had to be downloaded to your phone and was not via a device with earplugs. We decided not to use the audio and just tour it on our own. The Doge's Palace is breathtaking and we were so glad we got to see it.

The audio tour app was terrible, hard to load, didn't work all of the time, hard to follow the points of interest, not very informative. App had a terrible design and interface.
The location to pick up the tickets was hard to find.
