Alessandro was a wonderful guide. He’s very informative and attentive. We toured Doge’s Palace, Saint Mark’s Basilica, and took a boat ride through the canals. I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour of Doge's palace was top notch and being able to skip the line was even better. Alessandro was an excellent guide who accommodated our group which had a one year old in a stroller as well as some with mobility considerations. His knowledge of the palace and overall history of Venice made the experience even better. I highly recommend this tour and Alessandro.

Alessandro gave us a good historical context first incl the general history of Venice and why the basilica is important and features in the St Marks Square. English was good and understandable. He offered to take photos of us. He also pointed out proudly many artistic details in the palace.

We were blown away with the opulence and sheer beauty of this place.
If you are in Venice, THIS is one of the MUST SEE tours to take. (St. Mark’s Basilica is obviously the other not to miss.)
Unless you have a guide to explain the historical background, it would probably not be so impressive.
Our guide was incredible. She really gave us the context to the Venetian culture and their political influence, because of their connections to the world by trade.
Exploring the dungeon-like prison was a sobering experience.

Francesca was a delight. Not only was she very knowledgeable about the palace itself, she explained the governmental aspects of Venice of the time then spent extra time and insight on the paintings and the painters. I would highly recommend her.

With so much history, we got a very good synopsis, which gave me a better feel for the importance of Doge's palace, its artwork, and inner workings. Our guide was so informative and made everything interesting.
