My partner & I went to Disneyland Paris 14th-16th November. Just in time to catch the start of their Christmas season. We went with an open mind as we have been to both Disneyland California & Disney World. We arrived late afternoon, checked into the Cheyenne hotel & then headed to the parks. We stopped at the little Christmas market in the Disney village for some mulled wine. We didn’t have to queue to get into the park. The park was busy due to the parade about to start. We went on a couple of rides after the parade, 15 min queue for both,. We then went to watch their special 30th anniversary drone show & the fireworks. All I can say is wow!!! The next day we utilised magic hour. By lunch time we’d been on all the rides with 2-3 go’s on the bigger rides. We had lunch in the Mexican restaurant & then went to see Rhythm of the pride-lands (this was amazing!}. We then went to the Hollywood studios for a couple of hours with the intent to come back for the parade. We watched the magic with Mickey show, then went on avengers flight force & Spider-Man ride. After the parade we had time for thunder mountain at night - 25 min queue. Then time for a quick bite to eat before seeing the drones & fireworks again - enjoyed it as much second time around. The following day we went round the studios & got on everything we wanted to by early afternoon. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our trip, the detail & Christmas atmosphere was amazing. Staff not as friendly as the American parks, but pleasant enough. Food/drink prices as anticipated, but if you take advantage of the meal deals, then it’s not so expensive. It was an absolute privilege to see their 30th anniversary celebrations & this was the icing on the cake to our trip. Would I visit again, yes! 😀

Second time for us in Disney Paris - and the kids were so excited. We stayed in Hotel B and B which we couldn't fault but there are so many issues with the park itself. Firstly - the free shuttle bus is a nightmare! No queueing system - everyone just pushes on, no consideration for kids or buggies. Secondly - the queues. Sure, you expect to have to queue to get on the most popular rides - but EVERY RIDE has at least a 40 mins wait - some up to 100 minutes! This is ridiculous after paying so much for a ticket. We ended up paying extra for a fast pass which is no small matter - over 50 euros for a family. We did this twice each day - so extra costs. Food - this is a joke. Surely, after 30 years, the staff should have better options for food? Every restaurant was overbooked, every outlet bursting with queues - I had to wait 40 mins just for a coffee! Luckily - we found a 'tuck shop' in the nearby train station (where the buses stop) that sold sandwiches and snacks for the second day. Also be aware that all the furthest eateries close super early (around 5.30 pm) every night, as they try to get everyone out. Then the lack of DIsney Characters - not once did we see a Disney character wondering around for photo opportunities - and my poor kids were so disappointed - surely this should be a given? There could be a character or two to corrsepond with a few of the rides - walking up and down the queues for selfie opportunities? It could make the terrible waiting game a little less tedious? All in all - we left rather disappointed - which is awful after spending so much money. Disney Paris - surely this system is broken? You need to fix it!

The place is magical, it’s Disney the real McCoy. But staff can be rude and on more than one occasion felt discriminated against and treated differently because I was British. French visitors were treated completely differently to us at the same point in time by the same member of staff. For example me being rudely moved by staff from standing in a spot, for 30seconds later a French family being allowed to stand exactly where I was. Or trying to cross a road, when others were but not my family! Or any help with Disney dinning plan, aww people getting their sweet treat (part of Disney dinning plan) not my family, I became worn down by this aspect and found parts of this stressful, which I have never found before at anything Disney. Spent loads on a dinning plan that couldn’t use, couldn’t get the info or was told wrong info found the use of that aspect difficult. Other than this the place offers everything you expect, good family rides lots of meet and greets and special moments for the little ones in your life. I love Disney but would say you’re better off doing a cruise, one of the parks in America or Disney on Ive etc. same magic better treatment!

This Disney has shorter queues than the ones in the US and some of the cast members are really into it which makes it exciting. Highlights were the Christmas decorations, Big Thunder Mountain, and lights and fireworks shows. We found the rides here were a bit more intense and jerky than other Disneyland's we have been to. The park is in need of some maintenance in terms of painting their rides, cleaning common areas and making rides smoother. Buzz Lightyear ride didn't react properly to lasers and it seems many targets do not react or function, Hyperspace Mountain is not smooth and Phantom Manor is jerky to the point it is a little uncomfortable. Hoping changes can be implemented soon so the experience can be just as good as it is the other parks where these issues are not as noticeable. Food in the park is decent but most is just snack food in the stalls. If you want a filling meal it is worthwhile to make a reservation at one of the sit downs or going to Disney Village to find cheaper and more filling options. The snacks are not remarkable like other Disneys but everything still tastes pretty good. We would recommend a two day park hopper pass and spending the first day at Walt Disney Studios, first evening at Disneyland Paris and second day a combination of. Disneyland Paris has all the light shows and fireworks and is worth an evening visit. We also stayed on site which we liked because there are many shuttle buses to the Disney hotels and all are within a 20 minute walk of the park gates. The Christmas decor is always impressive and festive at Disney and that carried over well to the hotels and restaurants! Lots of nice souvenirs and hidden details as well.

We arrived on the 24th at 9 am to que for opening it took a long time to get in the first bag scan que ,then The pointless one where staff look at tickets . I see this as pointless since you then need to Que and the Scan your ticket for entry . This park is very crowded and a lot smaller than the Florida parks with much less to do . The shops are well decorated and themed but replicate items there’s no unique shops like there is in Florida hardly any signage around the parks. On the second day we arrived at the same time then found out the park shuts early on Friday this wasn’t stated when buying the tickets on the website. we visited the Disney studio park first at 9.30 am there was a massive Que again hardly Any staff working the ques. Nice scenery that resembles Hollywood studios a little bit but is nowhere near as good this place is very small and the areas are small we went on Aladdin .army parachute .tower ofterror and watched mickeys magic show . We then went back to the main park where there was a huge Que at the Disney hotel entrance part which took half an hour to get through and then through bag scan people where already sat down at 1600 hrs waiting for the Christmas parade to start at 1700 we had seen this the previous night , we were walking down Main Street attempting to get through the crowds when a rude Disney worker told us off the road and stand to Watch the show we now had to Push past the the crowds on The path . We then went on haunted mansion again and pirates of the Caribbean we had planned to Miss the night show and fireworks as have seen it the previous night . Thinking it will be quiet and more rides to get on. Now this was the disgusting part upon existing pirates of the Caribbean at 1910 we went to cut through where Peter Pan is and that area and we’re stopped by an aggressive Disney worker standing holding a red glow stick .who shouted no this is close you must go fireworks painting his glow stick at this time there were massive flows of people meeting head on waking into each other these Disney workers were every where forcing people into one area . We were then told all rides had closed we decided to leave the park at this point . Conclusion myself was very disappointing we have been to Disney in Florida and had 14 day tickets with fast passes in 2019 this place felt nothing like Disney for me the place looks nice the staff are a joke and very rude the security are good tho my wife is a very big dinsey fan and she was disappointed by the staff and the lack of time to Go on rides this place should be open longer to deal with the crowd size and the fact this place is to small for the ammount of people disney village is ok some nicely designed buildings but lacking compared To Disney springs badly

I had been here before for my birthday 8 years ago, now I was celebrating my 30th birthday here with my partner!! I was gifted with a birthday badge which I proudly wore all day around the parks. I would recommend getting here early and the most we queued for a ride was 1 hour and it wasn’t too bad. The queues move quickly! Our favour ride was thunder mountain, that was brilliant! And it was the only ride we went on twice that day. Disney parade was amazing and we also ate at throughout the day in different Disney restaurants. I did notice there was a lack of seating outside anywhere! Had to sit on the high kerbs a few times as a 12 hour day spent in Disney was tiring. We also managed to see the magical fireworks at the end and the amazing drone show for their 30th anniversary! So happy I got to spend my 30th birthday celebrating Disneys 30th anniversary.

Just go! As a couple, as a family, with kids, without kids, on your own, in a group it doesn't matter. There is no better feeling walking through that tunnel and seeing the castle for the first time. You don't need to be a child to immerse yourself in such an incredible place. Take it all in and enjoy being there. Some great food choices (the croque Monsieur is a must on main Street) and even treet yourself to a glass of champagne for the 30th anniversary. Don't let crowds and queues spoil your day either, go with the flow if you are able to to really enjoy the day. The fireworks and Disney d light at the end of the day are outstanding. You will have a magical day, just let the magic in :)

So I've been to Disneyland multiple times and different times of the year the most recent was last Christmas. I will say go to Disney at Xmas for the experience but it can be extremely overwhelming after your first day there's ALOT going on and it's rammed. Also it's cold you're carrying alot of stuff. We've found our favourite time to go is in June. Don't need to carry alot food options are better and the crowds aren't as crazy. But Disney at Xmas is magical we had a fantastic time probably one of the few places that can make it snow randomly 😂 The perfect Disney trip I have to say is picking the right time and the right hotel The new marvel hotel it's outstanding and a 2 min walk to all parks which makes a massive difference to your stay and no worries about buses etc... Get a Disney plan it's worth every penny I swear if you pick the alright places to go. And the app is your saviour. Do your research if you do you'll will have an amazing time
