This tour was absolutely ideal! Ricardo brings the beautiful city of Porto to life, not only with his vast knowledge of his city, but with his absolute LOVE of his home. He customized our time together by focusing on our desire to see and learn about some of the city center highlights, and with his uniquely special eco-friendly car, he could safely zip-us around far, far more comfortably than an often quite bumpy tuk-tuk. We were even able to take in some incredible vistas from the Monestary of Serra do Pilar in Gaia, on the opposite side of the Duoro River from Porto. I also have to mention that we were beyond impressed with his insights into the stunning tiles adorning the historic Sao Bento Train Station...we would have missed so much if we were on our own! From personalized hotel pick-up to his special grand finale "treat", Ricardo truly made our intro to Porto so memorable.

Ricardo Almeida ecolocaltours.pt was an excellent and knowledgeable guide who provided an amazing tour of Porto covering the historic district all the way to the ocean. He provided details on all the sights and there were many opportunities to stop and enjoy the incredible views. The eco vehicle was comfortable and navigated the narrow streets easily. Highly recommend!

Ricardo was a wonderful tour guide - very knowledgeable about the history of Porto and Portugal. We enjoyed seeing places that we probably wouldn't have done on our own because of the hills. The port tasting near the end of the tour was a classy touch.

Ricardo is an excellent tour guide! He is very knowledgeable of the history and monuments of Porto. His vehicle is exceptionally comfortable, it has plenty of room for 2 adults to sit side by side. The car is very easy to see out of. The tour covered a lot of ground, it gave us bearings for what’s where on our first day!

Ricardo was the best!! His knowledge of the city and it’s history was top notch. The open air car was a smooth ride and perfect for allowing us to capture pictures of all the amazing sights. He was very flexible and accommodating to our schedule. Prior to the tour, we communicated multiple times and he always responded in a timely manner and was very helpful. We would highly recommend you spend some time with Ricardo…you will NOT regret it!

We had the best day with Ricardo. He is such a wonderful man. He went above and beyond to please us. We started out a 9 am and back at 6 pm. He showed us everything we wanted to see in Porto and more. He is very knowledgeable able the history behind all the places in Porto. He treated us to our first Pastel da Nata. We had a wonderful lunch in Matosinhos. His electric car is comfortable and great for touring. No fumes, no bouncy around, and quiet unlike a tuk tuk. Great for picture taking since it has open windows. Stops along the way. We were like family by the end of the trip. We highly recommended him.

Ricardo gave us a terrific tour of Porto. The Tuk Tuk car was electric so it cruised smoothly through city streets. The vehicle was very comfortable for me and my husband, both of us are in our 70s. Ricardo was very knowledgable and gave us a lot of good information on the history and culture of Porto. We would do it again with him!

We reserved this TukTuk Tour last minute and were so glad we did. Our driver, Ricardo, was really great. He was waiting for us at the meeting point and the car was super comfortable. This car was way more comfortable than the other TukTuks we saw. It was super clean and nice. We were pleasantly surprised that we were the only 2 people, so we had a private 2 hour tour. Ricardo took us pretty much everywhere and was easy to talk to and very informative. He dropped us off at a different location to make it easier for us to do something else we wanted to do. It was a totally great experience that I would recommend to everyone.
