We had a fantastic time on this activity. We were picked up at our hotel in Cancun at 9 and arrived at the check-in by 11. Our guide Miguel let a group of 10 people all day. He was great, very entertaining, very knowledgeable. The main activities included a walk through a dry cave, a rappel into a 17nm cave, and the float in the river cave. Van transport was available for those who didn’t want to bike.
The wet cave involved a mixture of floating and walking. It was a magical experience to float while looking up at the stalagtites in the dark. Even weaker swimmers did OK, but maybe a float board would have been helpful.
Everything was provided: floatation vest, water shoes, towels, helmet/light, and a wetsuit (not really needed). You have to leave a camera and any bags in the lockers, so no need to bring them.
Some exposure to Maya culture was scattered throughout the day.
Miguel did a great job to make sure we were all doing OK and having a good time. He’s the best.
Afterward we had a meal and reviewed the pictures taken by the photographer who followed the group. Pictures were pricey if you wished to purchase (download).
We were back in Cancun around 7PM.

Just returned from two weeks in La Herencia at Hacienda Tres Rios on Riviera Maya. Very relaxing time and we were well taken care of by our butlers (Daniel, Gabriel, Gaston, Ruth and Enrique). The head butler, Edgar, has brought some fresh new ideas to his butler staff and in amenities offered and communication with guests. We were updated frequently on events in the resort and restaurant schedules, and butlers checked in with us frequently to see to our needs.

Pool waiters Filiberto and Victor kept us refreshed every day. Miguel at the Grill and Luis at Alebrije were always pleased to see us.

Alexis, Jesus, and Beto guided us on excellent Segway, kayaking and nursery tours, which were all much fun.
