The Fátima phenomenon is bigger than the town and the country and we start the journey by visiting the three shepherds' houses at the town of Aljustrel, four kilometers away from the Sanctuary.
Those were the family residences of Lúcias dos Santos and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco, the three shepherds that witnessed the apparitions of the virgin in 1917.
Heading next to the Sanctuary where there is a lot to visit, mainly the Little chapel of the apparitions, built at the exact place where the apparitions took place, and two Basilicas: Our Lady of the Rosary, that as the shepherds thumbs inside, and the Holy Trinity Basilica, one of the biggest catholic temples in the whole world.
At the sanctuary you will have free time to explore the religious site, including witness the mass and visit the different religious buildings that are part of the sanctuary. A unique journey through faith and history of one of the most famous places in Portugal. An incredible pilgrimage.

Informative , friendly and well driven . Luis was a lovely guide switching easily between English and Spanish ensuring all guests got the same wonderful experience . We were left to attend mass in the shrine and time to browse before being safely returned to Lisbon . Thank you Luis.

The places were realkt Good. But was very disappointed with the tour driver no customer service at all. He said he has Bern 40 years in the trade abd he hates his job so thatstelks everything

An excellent excursion from Lisbon. Our guide Alex was fantastic and provided great info on Portugal, Lisbon and the Fatima story. He was very accommodating to everyone on the trip. The Fátima site is extraordinary. Very large and beautiful. The sheperd’s - Jacinto, Lucia and Francesco - homes by contrast are in very tiny village and interesting to see the contrast. Highly recommend this trip.

I enjoyed visiting the Basilica of The Lady of Fatima The Virgin Mary Mother of Christ. I also attended Mass in the Basilica with thousands of other believers. The largest gathering of believers of the Lord Jesus Christ and other saints who are God fearing people. A true blessing and I had a special blessing of personally being a witness to “The Miracle of the Sun” as I prayed for God to have mercy on my sister, Ann, who was terminally ill in pain and suffering. The Lord took her to heaven while I was in prayer at Fatima. How much mightier can a prayer to God get? It was an amazing experience that will last me forever, I am so grateful! Brenda T

Had my tour with Daniel and his colleague (in training) and it was wonderful. Daniel took his time to explain everything in excellent English and perfect Spanish. He was patient, considerate and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

It was amazing, from the modest homes of the three children to the chapels and basillicas. We especially liked the museum with all of the gifts received, including the bullet removed from the pope.

This was a very nice experience overall. We enjoyed our tour guide — very pleasant with just the right amount of commentary — and, we had sufficient time to explore the religious campus — there is a lot to see — plus, the visit to the community and homes of the three shepherd children was extra special. Please note — the total tour was more like 7 hours in duration with an 8.00 am departure and a 3.30 pm arrival in Lisbon.
