Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling! The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Instructor. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills in the first dive before heading off on an open water dive in dive number 2. Your open water dive takes you as deep as 12 metres/40 feet! (Of course this depends on where you dive.) You Must know how to swim (strong and confident swimmer in the ocean), be in good health, not pregnant, and you will need 18hrs minimum to fly after scuba for safety reasons. This is just an experience to try scuba, this will not certify you.

“Pro” in their name was spot on. This was a professional organization in every way. Everyone of them pitched in to assist wherever something was being done, before there was a “need”.
About this particular dive location: it’s a loooooong boat ride and choppy waters can make it quite uncomfortable for some. Not a great deal of marine life to see. Water was clear with temp of 81 degrees early April. Lots of nice coral. Depth was max of about 48 feet.
Finally, I think the company missed an opportunity by not having their store open at the end of the trip. We couldn’t get our logs stamped, couldn’t buy souvenirs or anything else. Missed opportunity. Shout out to the international boat crew that took care of us.

Culebra is an amazing place. The trip from the marina in Fajarado out to the island was fun and interesting. There was a pretty big group of divers with several dive guides leading 6 or so divers apeice through a couple of reefs near Culebra. The reefs have been damaged by recent hurricanes, but seem to be recovering well with lots of soft corals being a primary component of the dives. Nice populations of colorful reef fish to observe on your dive. Dives were relatively shallow, 20-40 feet depth, with visibility around 40 feet for our dives. A good crew for some nice dives. I would look forward to diving with this charter around, Culebra, Vieques, or Fajardo.

The crew was very friendly and helpful, as well as attentive. Two of us did the discover scuba option, two snorkeled. Alvin worked the new divers, and he was excellent. Extremely safe approach. FYI, if you have had ANY surgery of ANY kind in the past 12 months, bring your doctor's medical clearance with you.

Certified my two daughters for Advanced Open water. I received my Rescue diver certification. The instructors were attentive, knowledgeable, and super capable. Felt very well taken care of.
Even had time for fun diving once the instruction portion was over. the Divemaster took videos that put my camera skills to shame. Then was able to share all the footage via Air Drop before reaching the dock.
Great time and will come back!!!.

Sea Ventures is my favorite dive shop in PR. The entire staff are skillful, professional divers. They provide great service to both experienced divers and learners. Lolo and Alvin are especially great!

I am with a dive shop from Denton, TX and brought a group of 17 divers from Texas to dive with Sea Ventures from August 24-26, 2022. This dive shop is first class. They have Newton dive boats that are quite possible the biggest and the best in Puerto Rico. The crew was great. From the shop manager: Yilmalia to the boat captains: Luis, Monica and Jorge to the instructors that were guiding us: Jose, Lola, Alvin, Sahid, Marina, Victorino to the DM candidates that were helping out everyone was great. Very laid back, fun-loving and very accommodating to our needs. These guys are there to please! They would store our gear overnight and have it on the boat in the mornings. We even worked with the captains to get back on time to eat with the group. Oh, and the marina restaurant "La Cueva Del Mar" was excellent too. If you dive with Sea Ventures check out the restaurant for sure. The group I was with enjoyed every minute of it.
By the way, while there we did the Vieques, Culebra and Fajardo reef tours. We were also able to do a sunset and 2 night dioves.
