1. Delphi
Pick up from your hotel early in the morning and meeting with the rest clients of the small group tour (maximum 10 people). Drive through the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes - connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus and the city of Levadia and enjoy a rest stop. You will arrive at ancient Delphi archeological site- known in ancient times as the navel of the world- the "Omphalos", whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World. You will meet with your official guide and start your tour. Pass by Castalia Spring, visit at the archaeological site and view the monument of the Argive Kings, the treasury of the Athenians, the Athenian Stoa, the Polygonal Wall, the monument of Platea and the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle
2. Delphi Archaeological Museum
Entrance to Delphi museum (own expenses), with spectacular exhibits including the frieze of the Treasury of the Sifnians, the Naxian Sphinx, the Statue of Antinoos, the famous bronze Charioteer, and many other artifacts. the Archeological museum of Delphi

Short stop at "The Tholos of Delphi is among the ancient structures of the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia in Delphi. The circular temple, a "tholos", shares the immediate site with other ancient foundations of the Temple of Athena Pronaia, all located less than a mile east of the main ruins at Delphi. The "tholos" is part of the Delphi UNESCO World Heritage.
4. Delphi
After finishing your guided tour you will be transfered at the modern village of Delphi for lunch (own expenses), and free time for a stroll around the alleys
5. Mount Parnassus
Leaving Delphi behind you are going to return to Athens via the picturesque mountain traditional village of Arachova (short stop), built on the south slopes of Parnassus. This tour returns to Athens in the late afternoon dropping you off at your hotel.

We really enjoyed the tour

Katerina was our guide during the ride. She was knowledgeable and very engaging. Her discussion of Greek mythology, history and culture made the ride to the site seem short. She also gave excellent preparation for the tour at Delphi and the museum. Selection of restaurant for lunch was good

Our driver Pietro? did a good job managing traffic.

Our guide at the Delphi museum ( Teodoro?)and the site was extremely thorough. We learned a great deal about the history of the building and rebuilding of the site, key artifacts and structures and the myth of the oracle.

Only downside was ride home was very long given traffic in Athens and multiple hotel drop offs.

Really enjoyed the tour to Delphi. Tania, our group leader was amazing and engaging. She did a great job explaining some of Greek’s history, culture and culinary traditions. The archeological guide gave great insight and explanations. The group lunch afterwards was a nice experience at a family restaurant with traditional Greek cuisine and a great few of the valley. Overall a superb experience!

The driver Alexander and guide in the car Thessa? Was amazing. Very sweet people and knowledgeable and safe driving all the way. We met with Theodore who is so knowledgeable and loves his job genuinely... he had a bit of a lisp and sometimes ended or started sentences very quickly so was a little bit hard to understand for me...but he was so full of facts and stories! It was such a great experience I would go small group tour with them again. The stop for lunch with gorgeous view and food (ewe pasta was so good)

Athena was probably the most fun tour guide I had! She was extremely knowledgeable, engaged with everyone and had everyone engaged as well. Theordore took over at the actual site, and he was incredible! Took us through the museum and the ruins and made sure everyone was comfortable and took breaks (lots of walking!!). And the restaurant Athena took us to was incredible! The view, the food, and the wine! And not pricy at all. Overall, I don’t think there could've been a better duo to take you around Delphi (and the city near it).

Athina, our bus guide was wonderful but was not allowed to give the Delphi museum tour. Museum tour guide had very thick greek accent and mispronounced many English words with accents on the wrong syllables. Could understand about half of what he said and we would have been much better off with the audio tour. I would not recommend this tour if your museum guide is Theodore.
