Our trip starts from Athens.

On this amazing full day tour you will see the most beautiful sights and scenery. On our way I will give you a lot of information about history, mythology and culture.

We will enjoy a visit to Delphi, novel of the world and the religious sites of Meteora. Also, we will pass by Thermopylae, where the 300 Spartans fought and the breathtaking Arachova.

I can adjust the schedule, duration and activities to meet your needs. Please let me know of any special requests you have.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Battlefield of Thermopylae
Our trip will start from Athens and then we will drive to Thermopylae, where we will visit Thermopylae's Innovative Centre of Historical Information and we will see the Statue of Leonidas.

Afterwards we will drive to the breathtaking Meteora, where we will visit a lot of monasteries, built on top of 1000 foot rocks, such as the Holy Monastery of Varlaam, Rousanou and the Holy Trinity. Then we will take a break for a coffee at Kalabaka. Driving through the beautiful stone villages of Arachova where we'll be able to stop so that you can take photos and buy souvenirs.
3. Delphi
After a wonderful scenic drive through mountains and fertile valleys we reach Delphi, located under the 3000ft tall mountain Parnassos. There we will visit the Archaeological museum of Delphi, we will see the Archaeological site of Delphi and the site of the temple of Apollo.

In that stop we will see an amazing luxurius village that was built on the edge of the mountain,amazing view,god time for relaxing and take a coffe or souvenirs.
5. Distomo Massacre Memorial
Distomo a dramatic village in 1944 350 people lost their lifes,it was a Nazi war crime perpetrated by members of the Waffen-SS in the village of Distomo, Greece, in 1944, during the German occupation of Greece during World War II.

In this extra local area...!!! In the end of the tour all the travellers will enjoy in a very beutifull greek TAVERNA greek food as grill meat,fish,salads,deserts,wine,beer,soft dinks. All this food is payed from our copmany,all inclusive meal in the end for all.

• If there is a Strike in The city Center or a special event that effects the tour,the tour may change start time or ITINERARY under the instructions of the operator and the agreement of the customer
• Please provide as much as possible contact details to the operator even after the booking
• If the booking will start from Ath Int Airport the time of the tour start to count fro the pickup of the customer,so do not stress your self in cases of Delay of flights.
• If the tour is combined with a transfer the Maximum Luggage ( american size 32kl) can be no more than 3 and the start time of the tour starts at the time of the first pickup eg :( There is a customer that buys a tour starting from Cruise terminal but first he/she wants to be transferred to his Hotel to do the check in and then to start the tour. ) if the customer wants extra services than the ones that paid for,the operator will charge him extra and the payment will be done to the driver in cash or credit card.

I enjoyed hearing the history of Greece, and of Delphi in particular, from Pantelis. He is extremely knowledgeable, and his English is excellent. The car was clean, and Pantelis offered plenty of bottled water and lemonade to drink along the way. Both Delphi and Meteora are quite a hike. I recommend that your bring along snacks for the long trip. After twelve hours, I elected to forgo the dinner offering since I had eaten a wrap at 3 pm. From 6 am to 3pm there was nothing offered to eat.

As I mentioned, we stopped around 3 pm for a gyro wrap in a small village. I was charged 7 euros for the same wrap I purchased the day before for 3.80 euros at Thallanos in Athens. Btw, I highly recommend Thallanos!!! Be aware of price gouging for lunch.

Warning: If you are a woman, do not use the restrooms at the monasteries. Use the restroom beforehand. The toilet there is a hole in the floor.

Overall, the trip was very pleasant. The rock formations at Meteora are beyond spectacular!! Delphi is worth a visit. They have a very nice museum. I would recommend the tour and the guide.

The trip was wonderful. This was in a new 4-door Mercedes, only us and the guide. Mr Pietrius vast knowledge of ancient Greek history is unmatched. His tour will take you faster to more sites, and you can stop anywhere you want as opposed to a large bus. The monastery sites are so spectacular that they should be a must for any trip to Athens. But the ability to tour Delphi and more makes this a luxury tour that is well worth the cost. The day is concluded with a wonderful meal in a restaurant non tourist area to give you a truly Greek experience. You will not be disappointed in Mr. Pietrius, he is the professional guide you will want.

The guided one day tour to Delphi is “a must” for all visitor to Greece. You learn all about, and relive, Greece’s famous Oracle of Delphi during this trip, The complimentary pickup and drop off to the hotel was on-time and offered an easy payment process. On our tour, the driver , Mario, and veteran guide of 50 years, George, offered a comfortable ride with perfect timing of activity and stops throughout. George was very knowledgeable about all of the historical facts and mythology of the site. Timing was perfect for activity and resting between stops. Questions about Delphi were welcomed. The mountains towered in front of us, as we passed through quaint towns of shops, hotels, and cobblestone streets. The guide explained details of this UNESCO site at the ruins and throughout the museum. My husband and I highly recommend this trip where you experience a travel “back in time”.

It’s a long day but well worth it to get to see two amazing sites in one day.
The monasteries are unbelievable and a unique experience
The mountain scenery is terrific
Then to Delphi and the museum are great historical sites.
The added benefit is seeing so much of the countryside on the way to and from and driving through farmland and olive orchards.
Our driver and guide John was truly fantastic and gave us great insight on the route and before we went to the sites
Recommend bringing your own lunch and snacks with you as the stop at service station/cafe is your only option during the trip
Highly recommend this trip.

We joined a 14 hour day tour to Delphi and Meteora with George as our driver guide on October 6, 2023.
George has shown us his professionalism by contacting us one day in advance and waiting at our hotel punctually. A 14 hour trip sounds a bit frightening to us at first. However George provided few stops to let us stretch our legs and grab some snacks. At the end, we found the 14 hour was nothing at all. From him we knew so much about the history and culture of the sites. We eyewitnessed the stunning sights and we could keep many valuable photos. Before we ended our trip, George bought us to a restaurant to taste local Greek seafood. It was deliciously good.
Thanks to George’s good service and we highly recommend this route to someone who wants to see more and save time.

Unresponsive tour operator. We had 24 hours to cancel. The day before the tour we had a death in the family and had to rush home and reached out to the tour operator and Viator to cancel and refund as a courtesy to no avail and zero response from this tour company. Very disappointing.

We had only 3 days in Athens and we wanted to visit both Delphi and Meteora in one day if possible. I searched online and found there’s only one company providing such one day trip. I booked for the next day and was wondering if this really could happen.

Next morning before 6 Sebastian was at the hotel where we stayed to pick us up. Sebastian knows the best spot for each site, drove us around and managed to cover what we wanted to see.
