This tour can accomodate up to 6 people and the price is per car.
We will drive you around Sintra in a 4x4 or mini van for 6 people.
For bigger groups you can book the same tour twice - each tour up to 6 people.
Palace tickets are NOT included
We only recomend you to visit 2 palaces inside (Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira)but if you only want to visit 1 or also only a sight seeing tour around the places it´s also possible
The palaces that you are not going inside we will stop at a view point for you to see the places and take pictures
This tour is nice for groups and also families.
VERY IMPORTANT
Foggy days can occur during summer.
In foggy days we cannot assure that is possible to see Pena Palace and Mourish castle from the view point, so we recommend to go inside.
FIRE HAZARDS
During the summer fire hazards can cause some restrictions on the mountain roads that can be closed and also the palaces
In situations like this we'll offer you another date or an alternative tour

Francesco and Maria are a dynamic couple that really care about their clients! They live in the town so can show you all the shortcuts that big companies can’t - you could be stuck in lines and traffic jams… but with them you always have a solution. In our case, a bus went the wrong way so it slowed access to one of the palaces but no worries with this tour, we went up a different way and had a lovely short walk-through the forest to get there faster. Also a tip Francesco gave me about the queue in Pena Palace was spot on and saved me time & frustration.. Lots more you will find out along the tour… enjoy!

Tour was a complete package . Francisco showed up before time and escorted us to every location delicately and on time . He respected our comfort as it was raining and provided us with umbrellas and ponchos . Francisco went over the history of each location before we explored which made it so much more authentic .
Our tour started in Lisbon and we visited Pena castle and the famous well castle . We got to see the coastline from its highest point and even though the weather wasn’t completely on our side , the experience with had was 5 star
I recommend this tour !
I would say it says 5 hours but it’s a 7 hour day .
They go above and beyond .

We began our private tour from the airport to the hotel to the many great parks/palaces of Portugal. Our personal tour guide Francisco and the coordinating leader Maria were all a big help. They handled our group in a professional and flexible manner. While even adding in some added sights that were off the beaten path. Can't praise them enough, brigado to them all

We had a private day tour to Sintra and Cascais with our guide Francisco. Our family enjoyed the tour very much and felt like we saw so much in the time we were together. It is crucial to work with a local guide like Francisco as Sintra is very confusing and difficult to navigate on your own or even with an Uber. Also, he was very knowledgeable being an experienced guide and a local. It was so nice to hop in and out of a private car at the various pick up points. He knew all the tips for us to navigate the lines inside the palaces. Ending the busy day with incredible views of the ocean was certainly a highlight for us. Thank you Francisco!

I had an amazing day touring the castles of Sintra! Maria, my tour guide, packed my day in with beautiful views and loads of knowledge. I will recommend to anyone that visits Portugal. Driving in a convertible was a huge plus for the greenery covering the roads.

This was an amazing tour! My husband and baby son accidentally walked up the hiking path and had the worst time. When we met Maria with the yellow car we didn’t know she would not only make sure we had a good time but she would save us from making further mistakes. I’m so glad we found her! If you are ever in Sintra please don’t hesitate to get her to take you around and especially up the hill to Peña Palace. She is such a warm and friendly person and really patient. And the yellow car is the best!

The tour turned into our own private tour with Francisco, which was great. He was knowledgeable, efficient, & made the tour fun. This was our first trip to Lisbon, & he helped make it memorable.

We had an amazing day exploring Sintra with Francisco. He did an excellent job showing us around and making sure we got the best views of all the palaces. Driving in Sintra is tricky so we were happy to have someone else take us around. Sintra is a mystical place full of palaces - so much to see and do here. Spend the night if you can.
