Experience the largest museum for ancient Egyptian art with its treasures from Egypt's great past such as the gold coffin of King Tutankhamun with all its elaborate and high-quality grave goods. Our tour guide will explain the most important exhibits to you in a humorous two-hour stay and answer your questions.

Marvel at the last existing wonder of the world - a fabulous experience! You will find a total of three pyramids here: the Chephren, Cheops and Mykerinos pyramids. You can discover the area on foot, on horseback or by camel.
After visiting the pyramids of Giza, you will go to the Great Sphinx, by far the largest and most preserved sphinx. It consists of a human head on a lion's body. The Sphinx was carved from the remainder of a limestone mound that served as a quarry for the Great Pyramid of Cheops.
Felucca ride on the Nile. In consultation with the tour group for a fee.

The organisation of this trip was fantastic, the planning end to end was really good and we felt guided every step of the way. The visits were spectacular and the guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The lunch was great.

This would’ve easily been a five star review except after the amazing visits it was spoiled by being taken to two places with really unpleasant, aggressive selling, where the tour guide left us alone to be pressured into spending money on overpriced things that we didn’t need or want.

That really made me feel vulnerable and exploited. It spoiled the end of what should’ve been the most amazing trip. You really should do better and look after your customers.

Our day was amazing. We decided to visit Cairo as part of our Egypt family holiday, and went as a group of 12. 6 adults and 6 children, including 3 toddlers. On the run up to the day we had reservations about our sanity and if this was a safe trip to do but the whole day was just 10/10. In the weeks before we had regular contact from the tour company requesting our details to book our flights etc, and in the days before we had all info from taxi, flight etc. on our arrival at Cairo we were greeted by Ahmed who was such a lovely man. He was knowledgeable, funny, he took us to see many sights, the museum, pyramids plus a perfume shop, we added on a trip on the Nile at the end of the day which finished it off perfectly. He even took up to stop at McDonald’s on the way to the airport as the kids were hungry. There were no negatives to our experience. We felt safe and at ease all day and never did we feel under pressure to be anywhere or buy anything.

The cost of the day also was very reasonable. We had previous looked at booking the same trip with tui however it was going to be almost £100 per person more. Book tour Egypt was by far the right choice to make.

We had a full day in Cairo and it was the best experience we could have wished for. Ahmed our tour guide was fantastic and so knowledgeable. Our group was 7 people and a perfect size. His only thought was to give us a wonderful time and show us as much as he could. His knowledge is unbelievable. He always knew the best things to show us and where to get the best views and photo opportunities . Our driver Mohammed was brilliant, always calm in the crazy Cairo traffic and always there for us. The museum, Tutankhamen, pyramids and Giza were amazing. The camel ride at the pyramids was well worth doing to get some fantastic photos that you can only get from going into the desert a short way. We also did a small cruise down the Nile. Everything went smoothly from communication from tour company to getting our flights. Tour guides were there to meet you at airport. A must if you are visiting Egypt 👍😎🐪

When I was a young teenager I rather fancied becoming an Egyptologist, I was fascinated by the civilisation that had constructed the pyramids and other treasures. All my life I have dreamed of visiting the pyramids and finally, many years after those teenage fancies, those dreams were realised as part of a wonderful day organised for us by Book Tour Egypt.
Communication, via WhatsApp, was excellent. Clear instructions and timings were given and stuck to. We paid a deposit online, then the balance in cash was collected as arranged on the first day of our holiday.
The actual trip started at 05:10, picked up from our hotel and taken to the airport. After a short flight we arrived in Cairo and were met as promised. Our guide, Ahmed, was outstanding throughout the day. He was friendly, knowledgeable, informative and had a nice sense of humour. Ahmed was the most efficient and effective guide you could possibly wish for, I really hope that one day he is able to achieve his desire to travel to the British Museum in London. The other part of our small team was Hossain, our driver in Cairo. How he coped so well with the chaotic Cairo traffic is beyond me!
In the morning we visited the museum. You could easily spend a full day there and still want longer but Ahmed pointed out and gave us information on some of the main treasures, and we were given time to ourselves to gaze in awe at the Tutankhamun exhibition.
We were driven over to Giza and got our first glimpses of the pyramids shortly before we made a stop at a papyrus shop. It was interesting to have the method papyrus is made quickly explained and demonstrated, and we were of course invited to purchase some of their items. This we did, although I went in not intending to, purely because we liked what we saw, there really was no hard sell. Lunch was provided at a local restaurant where we were very well looked after and the food was plentiful and tasty (food included, drinks extra).
Next we were driven to the pyramid site. It was a great thrill to actually get up close to these awesome structures and wonder at the engineering feats involved in their construction. We had plenty of time to explore the complex, including the chance to enter the burial chamber of one of the smaller ones. We also went on an optional camel ride up to a plateau giving a different view of the complex. The camels, so far as I could tell, were well cared for, and this was an enjoyable experience. Rides by horse and carriage were also available.
Now it was time for a short drive round to the site of the sphinx and the associated temple, more unforgettable sights.
Eventually we had to leave the Giza area and head back to Cairo, on the way calling at a perfume shop. I knew this was coming and we had every intention of making a purchase as my wife is interested in aromatherapy. She was very happy with the range, quality and price of the products. One thing to be careful of : we were assured there would be no problems taking the liquids on the flight, but luckily just after we checked in my wife spotted a notice and asked the check-in attendant specifically. We were told that the perfumes had to travel in checked luggage, not hand baggage, which was what we originally thought was the case.
Our final stop of the day was for a boat trip on the Nile. This also was an optional extra, but well worth it in our opinion as a pleasant, relaxing end to our Cairo experience. Afterwards we were driven to the airport, said our farewells to a couple of top people and forty minutes after the wheels touched the ground in Sharm we were back in our hotel.
It was a long day, but an extremely fulfilling one. We never at any point felt rushed, even though so many experiences were fitted in. I highly recommend this trip, it has been the highlight of our holiday and one of the highlights of my life. A very similar itinerary was offered by our package tour operator, at almost twice the price!! I would not hesitate to use the services of Book Tour Egypt if I am ever fortunate enough to return to see more of the country's sites.

This is one of the best excursions our family has ever done. It was smooth, well organised and our guide was brilliant.

We were picked up at 4am at our resort and escorted through security and boarded. We even got upgraded to business class.

Cairo was amazing and our guide for the day whom met us at the airport was very informative. I cannot recommend this excursion enough. It is also very good value for money.

Yes, it is a long day. We arrived back at our resort at 8pm but with all the exciting sites you will see, you forget how tired you are. Book it!

The day trip to Cairo was brilliant! The process was very smooth, staff were super helpful and our guide and driver around Cairo could not have been better.

We booked the trip 2 months before our holiday. Around a month before we were due to fly out, Rana and the team reached out to get all our flights booked - all very straight forward and friendly.

On the morning of our trip we were picked up and taken to the airport - communication throughout was excellent. When we arrived in Cairo our guide was waiting outside for us and escorted us to our private vehicle for the day. There were 6 of us in total for the day.

We went to the museum, pyramids, sphinx, river nile and a few other places around Cairo. Our driver was brilliant and made us feel very safe, especially with how busy it was. We also couldn’t fault our tour guide - he was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

The only thing I wish we knew beforehand is that almost all the toilets in Cairo are supervised - you’ll be expected to tip in return for toilet paper, so definitely bring toilet paper with you.

I highly recommend booking this tour if you’re looking for a day out in Cairo!
